Seeing Shun zooming across the field like some kind of a fighter jet, Lorius then begun shooting multiple ranged attacks continuously, as he try to land a hit on Shun himself. However due to the speed that Shun flies, none of the attack could land a hit on him at all.
Not long after Shun manage to reach Lorius as he threw in a punch, only for Lorius to use a short distance teleportation spell to blink behind Shun.
However Shun was quick enough to notice where Lorius had teleported and immediately swung his arm behind him, only for Lorius to teleport once more to Shun's blindspot.
Sensing that his attacks missed again, Shun then quickly turned as he directed at Lorius new location, only for Lorius to use "Eject" to quickly distance himself from Shun at his blindspot again and firing back a "Fireball" at him.
Unfortunately even though that attack landed, it wasn't strong enough to actually shoot Shun down. With that Shun reached out his arm from the smokes, only for Lorius hammer him down with a inanimate mana hammer using "Materialize Magic".
After that he then materialize a huge bow and arrow made out of elemental energy into the air, while also casting three layered enhancement circle which could double the damage that his attack could do. All in all if he makes a successful attack, he could atleast do about 8 times the damage that his original could do against his target.
Without giving a single second of waste, Lorius shoot his attack, as the arrow passed through the three layered enhancement circle and soon crashed down towards its target, causing another huge explosion that caused a huge quake that warranted the attention of all the instructors on the cruise ship.
After all with numerous huge attacks that caused numerous quakes, there would naturally be a cause for concern since a tsunami could form just from the aftershocks of these attack. With it, it was all in the instructors and professors responsibility to manage these disaster and prevent them from ever occurring.
Nevertheless ever since these early morning, there had been numerous instances where disasters could strike at the island. Due to that the professors and instructors were quite busy navigating all of these and preventing natural disasters to occur.
All in all, this was a one heck of a test they have to supervise. After all with these test alone, the instructors and professors of the the six academies already acknowledged that they found a lot of students in this test that had already surpassed them. Such a thing was something they have already accepted as is.
Going back on the island, Lorius immediately used Gale to blow away the smoke and dust in order to confirm whether he had indeed taken care of Shun. However the moment the dust clears, Shun was nowhere to be found, as he suddenly sensed his mana above him, causing him to quickly turn and look above.
To his surprise Shun was far above him readying for an attack as he launched hundred of stars towards Lorius.
"Celestial Expansion!!!"
In response to this Lorius immediately used "Chantless Casting", "Multiple Voices", "Quick Casting" in order to create hundred of magic circles in different elements and launched an attack to counter Shun's attack.
"Giga Blaze x3"
"Aqua Cannon x5"
"Lightning Arrow x10"
"Boulder Strike x6"
"Inferno x8"
"Wind Blade x11"
.....
.....
In just a few moment both of their attacks soon clashed as numerous explosion erupted in mid air as Lorius traded blow for blow against Shun.
At the same time both Allen and Seol lauched an attack simultaneously as they brought in everything they have.
"Dragon Strike!!!"
"Grand Impact (Slash)"
Unfortunately due to the altitude on where Shun is located, he somehow saw the attacks coming and used another one of Aurelion skills to counter both of their attacks.
"Starsurge!!!"
With just snap of his fingers, a miniaturized galaxy formed above him, as he threw the attack to both Seol and Allen, causing their attack to be swallowed up and another explosion to erupt that completely dispersed tha dark clouds and rain.
Following after a tower of light erupted, as Seol was finally eliminated from the battle. Due to the attack, no matter how talented Seol is, she wouldn't be able to tank the explosion causing her demise in the process. As for Allen, he somehow survived by expelling a lot of his energy from his sword god transformation and somewhat stayed conscious. However by doing this he merely stalled for the inevitable ss his body slowly breaks down.
Cracks started to appear on his body as a consequence from forcefully expelling such transformation out of his body.
"God dammit! So it was useless after all.
Not long after sensing that he is in no condition to continue, he was then forcefully eliminated as another streak appeared, leaving the battlefield with two survivors
However witnessing all of these, none of the professors nor students could utter a single word as they were shocked by the events that happened in the island. This progress was something that they have never expected. After all they somehow guessed that Shun would get the help from various students to defeat Lorius.
Since Lorius was quite a powerful student and somehow far stronger than both Shun and Akito, they imagined that a grand union would form to take down Lorius as the final battle on the island. Never did they expect that the situation would be the reverse.
In this scenario Shun was the one who seemed like the final boss and Lorius was the one who formed a front together with the other students to stop him.
This kind of transformation was something that they have never expected, after all this was the first time Shun had used such skills. But for those who were present on the six academies competition during their 2nd year, they all somewhat felt something familiar from Shun's current appearance.
This is even more apparent to his group of friends who realized that Shun somewhat looked like the gigantic dragon they saw back during the six academies competition.
If that was the case then how did Shun fused with such creature?. That was the question they have in their minds.
However while everyone was distracted, one particular instructor from the Orbium Academy saw the current survival status of the students and realized one discrepancy. To his surprise there was actually 3 surviving students in the island. Which begs the question, who was the 3rd student?.
