The very next day Nesiara and John with the others went to look for the last boss before fighting Heathcliff as they find the boss room quite fast.
They enter it and find a tall man that looked almost like Logan in the room. He was smaller than John but still taller than Nesiara as Yui could feel a similar aura coming from him as from Sion as she approaches him.
Gabriel picks her up and says, "Now look at you little girl. You shouldn't wander on the battlefield even if you come from the Wyrm family we normally enter the battlefield once we enter our teens not before."
Suddenly two angels appear beside him. Dino and Inu recognize them as Pete and Neko just in their Mega Form Seraphimon and Ophanimon.
"Now that the girl is out of the way let's start the sparring," says Gabriel as he was warming up when Ophanimon goes towards John and Nesiara.
"We will protect the girl and those two. They aren't as strong as they used to be. Also, take this as a Deathmatch. He can't control his strength I remember when he almost killed his brother in a sparring match," says Neko as she then takes Dino and Inu away towards the side to make sure nothing happens to them and Yui while the other fight.
"Now then are you ready?" asks Gabriel as he gets in position as suddenly his hair turned blue.
John and Nesiara get in position and their eyes were now Rinnengans with tomoes in it. As their hair was stiff while their body was surrounded by Lightning and Flames as Gabriel smiles while says, "We will have some fun it seems."
Then Gabriel rushed at them as John rushes to intercept him while Nesiara's aura turned deeper red before joining John.
John was sent flying back by Gabriel when Nesiara tried to sneak attack Gabriel but Gabriel just Karate chops at Nesiara who turned to black smoke as her fist goes for Gabriel's face.
Gabriel uses his forehead to block the fist and then his other fist that turned black to punch Nesiara only to be pulled towards John before he could make contact with Nesiara.
Gabriel turns around in mid-air and faced towards John while saying, "I hate this party trick."
John turned into his TDT as Yamato appears in his hand. Gabriel's hands and legs begin to shine. Armguards and Shin protectors appear as Gabriel blocks the sword with his right leg guiding it down as he spins around himself making a heel kick with the left leg.
He almost got John who was about to defend when Gabriel gets pulled away again by Nesiara this time.
"Really both can use this trick. You really are playing underhanded," says Gabriel as Nesiara had her staff in her hands.
"My teacher said there is no unfair fight only winner and loser," says Nesiara as she extends her staff to attack Gabriel.
Gabriel uses one hand to stop the staff that was coming for him when John comes from behind holding three swords as he suddenly grew two more heads and four more arms as he swings at Gabriel.
That made Gabriel smile as he used his free hand to block all the strikes perfectly before saying, "You should learn how to develop your own style instead of copying my brother's style."
"So be it I wanted to use it against Heathcliff but you should be the first to see it," says John as suddenly three more heads and six more arms appeared.
"18-Swords-style: Nirvana," says John as a Whirlpool of blades come for Gabriel at abnormal angles as Gabriel begins to smile from being cut by John as he was having cuts here and there over his body.
"You really have an interesting technique," says Gabriel as the scratches began to heal and he continues, "My brother would be proud that his student surpassed him."
Gabriel then suddenly exploded as his hair got longer getting to his arse while the illusion of John vanished and Gabriel says, "But many thought I wouldn't keep training after reaching the SSGSS but I did. This is the highest I have got, two steps away from what my father achieved the SSGSS3."
The pressure Gabriel was releasing was unbearable for normal people while Ophanimon and Seraphimon made a barrier to protect Yui and the other two as John was having a hard time since he almost depleted his whole energy in that strike.
Nesiara then pushes her staff at Gabriel while making it thicker and uses the force Gabriel is using against it by jumping making him lift the staff instead of pushing it away.
She changes to Queen and uses her Flamethrower at Gabriel until the staff buries him. Then Nesiara turns to John and asks, "You alright?"
"Don't worry I'm fine but we have a bigger problem," says John as he points towards the staff as they see Gabriel lifting it without a problem with both hands as he throws it to the side.
"My brother used to do the same trick. But this won't work," says Gabriel as he jumps twice on the same spot before rushing at them. John then tries to push Gabriel away only to find out it didn't work.
Nesiara looks at him and both suddenly transform as they were surrounded by Blue or Red Chakra and both use the same jutsu at the same time as Wood Dragons would rise out of the ground and began to bond Gabriel as he wasn't able to move from all the Wood Dragons surrounding him.
"He really taught you well but this won't hold me back," says Gabriel as he frees himself from the Dragons and rushed at them again when he was about to hit Nesiara John put himself in the way to protect her when Gabriel's fist just began to dissolve and Gabriel says, "I got too excited it seems."
Both begin to sigh in relief until Gabriel says, "We will have a rematch one of those days so be prepared it won't end like this one."
Then all three dissolved completely while Yui returned to her parents and says, "Did that big uncle leave with the two angels."
"It seems so princess. How about we leave for today," says John as he wanted to lift Yui up but he suddenly took a knee down worrying both as Nesiara used some magic to heal him as she diagnosed him at the same time.
"Did his punch still land on you?" asks Nesiara worried as John's internal organs were all over the place in his body.
"Just for a second and only a slight touch provocate this much," says John as Nesiara puts him down on the ground and begins to organize his organs to be where they should be as his demonic blood and cells were doing the rest patching him completely up as he then spits out black blood making Yui worry as she took John's hand when John says, "At least the plan worked as we planned yesterday."
"It did but you should sleep for now," says Nesiara while healing him.
Flashback to yesterday
"You have one advantage against Gabriel," says Sion as both looked at him confused.
"What do you mean?" asks Nesiara as Sion sits down on the ground.
"Gabriel is quite my opposite. I'm calm and collected. He is a troublemaker. He always was always a troublemaker since young. His weakness is that once you can wound him he will use full power from that moment you win if you can hold him down for enough time," says Sion as John realizes what Sion means to say.
"You mean to exhaust his energy like before with Sasuke," says John as Sion nods.
"Exactly once he uses too much energy he will run out and dissolve making you the winner by default," says Sion as he taught them how to play for time with some jutsus since Gabriel relies heavily on Ki.
Back to the present
"Don't worry your Dad is fine. He just needs a bed to sleep. Inu and Dino come and carry John and us two into town," says Nesiara as Inu turned into Garurumon X and carried both Nesiara and Yui while Dino as Greymon X was carrying John after they opened the gates to the last floor.
Once in town both transform back and they Hiraishin home with Nesiara's help. Back at home, they put John in the bed as he was sleeping soundly as Yui was sitting beside him worried while Nesiara wasn't that worried because she knew that John was quite tough and not so easy to kill.
She was making food for herself and the others and called Yui and the others to eat when Yui asks, "Is Dad ok?"
"He is fine. It needs more to kill your father. He is the toughest man I know that isn't a Wyrm. He will be fine by tomorrow," says Nesiara as she pets Yui's head and they eat together before going to bed to join John.
The next morning they woke up and didn't find John in the bed as Nesiara peeks into the kitchen she could see John eating quite healthy all the food she had in the kitchen as she calls Yui over to watch how fine John was as he was swallowing the food down like a black hole.
Yui was giggling as she saw John eat like that and John turns around and says, "Ah, I was caught."
Then Yui runs over towards him and hugs John who was sitting on the ground as he was eating the food. He stands up while Yui was still hugging him and Yui says, "I was worried that you wouldn't open your eyes again."
"Don't worry I don't die this fast even if I did I think someone in this room knows a way to bring me back," says John as he pets Yui and puts an arm around her as he carries her before kissing Nesiara while saying, "Thank you for always being there."
"Someone has to look after you big guy or our little princess would be sad forever," says Nesiara after finishing the kiss as she then continues, "I will need to buy some food for us or we won't be able to cook something to eat later on."
Nesiara then takes Yui and says, "Rest for today. Yui and I will go to buy food for the next few days since the endgame is going to an end."
Then she leaves with Yui and the other two to buy food after going to Asuna's place as she joined them.
