They were all in the small room waiting for Cloud to wake up when John decides to sit on the ground while looking at the painted wall.
Nesiara walks towards him and sits on his lap and says, "This picture."
"Yes," says John as Nesiara looked at it.
"It reminds me of Yui's pictures when we just got her," says Nesiara remembering the paintings that Yui made.
The picture might have been better than what was on the wall but she had paper and a table to paint on. Aerith was looking at it with Kieron as she was telling the group about what she really was and what Shinra wanted from her.
"So they want to take this Promised Land from you. That's something we can't let them do aren't I right. Only you should decide what to do with that land since it's your birthright," says Barret seriously as he the people all nod.
"But you should invite us if it's really a paradise as you described it. We are friends after all," says Barret next making the mood quite shift from serious and bad to relaxed and good as some chuckles and laughs could be heard.
Then Clouds opens his eyes and asks, "What happened and where are we?"
"Slowly," says Tifa as she helps Cloud up.
"We are in Aerith's old room," says John as he looked at Tifa when Nesiara stands up from John's lap.
John follows and begins to walk out of the room while saying, "We will await you upstairs."
"Take your time but not too long or we will have to fight the bad guys without you," says Nesiara before leaving the room following John.
They walk towards the elevator as Nesiara asks, "How long do you think they will take?"
"Some minutes," says John as they board the elevator with Red XIII that was following them.
"I think they will take longer. It's a hard pill to stomach hearing that you were a successful experiment of a crazy professor like Hojo," says Red XIII listening to the two while the elevator goes upwards.
"Yes, it would. But Cloud knows that he was an experiment. He just doesn't know that he had the Jenova-Cells and that Sephiroth can enter his mind without a problem," says John as they arrived at Hojo's private lab again.
"Still a bitter pill," says Nesiara agreeing with Red XIII on this matter.
They walk out of it and walk towards the control room when John throws some ki balls at the containers killing the Failed Experiments in them.
They fall out and Red XIII sees them and asks, "Do you think Hojo wanted to do the same to me as he did to them."
"Maybe. But we will never know," says John as all three knew that Hojo is dead.
"Well, we could summon him back couldn't we?" asks Nesiara as she suddenly had a dangerous glint in her eyes.
"No, never," says John trying to get that idea out of his wife's head when Nesiara smile making Red XIII and John feel shivers run down their spine.
"Come on he deserves it doesn't he," says Nesiara as she walked towards one of the Failed Experiments and says, "We have the sacrifices and with all the blood in there we should have enough of his DNA."
"You know that he entered the Lifestream. We don't know if we can bring him back since the Lifestream is different," says John nervous that Nesiara would really bring him back.
"*sighs* Fine, I won't bring him back," says Nesiara as she burned the corpses away.
John enters the control room and cleans it up before Red XIII and the others could get a good look at it. They had luck since Tifa only had eyes for Cloud and Cloud was out of it or they would have seen the mess that was left behind by them.
The group was slowly forming again when Cloud and Tifa returned to the group. They all then go to the elevator that leads further up.
The family then stays behind and John says, "We will be right behind you."
The group takes the elevator up and the family was waiting for Aerith to move out of the elevator as they used Hiraishin to appear beside her.
Red XIII jumps back as he got scared by them appearing out of nowhere while the other three were now a little bit accustomed to it when Aerith smiles at them.
"So it really works," says Aerith happy that they appeared right away.
They walked on the bridge and find a container in the middle of the room with something in it.
Suddenly a man with his back towards them comes into their view on the other side of the bridge. It seemed as if he was waiting for them.
He had long silver hair and Nesiara had her sword drawn as she says, "So we meet again."
"Sephiroth," says Cloud as he also had his sword in his hands.
The others follow his example while John and Nesiara just watched for now. Cloud suddenly rushed into the fight without thinking of the consequences as he jumped when suddenly Sephiroth only tries to pierce him with his sword surprising Cloud.
Cloud now thought that he was dumb enough to jump at Sephiroth because of his hate for what he did in Nibelheim when the sword was almost touching Cloud two fingers stopped the edge to hurt Cloud while a hand was holding Cloud in the air.
Cloud looked down and see Kieron when he suddenly hears from behind him, "Hate is a powerful tool but only for people that can control it. People that can't, turn most to self-destruction means killing themselves in the process before even dealing damage to their opponent."
Cloud turns around and sees Nesiara was the one lecturing him as he took a closer look and every family member had the same red eyes while looking at Sephiroth.
Kieron puts Cloud down as suddenly a sword began to materialize in his hand that looked exactly like the one Sephiroth was holding.
"Cloud, how about you watch this as training on how to use your anger or hate without blinding you," says John as Kieron let's go of the sword and takes a stance.
It seemed like both used the same style as they clashed. Kieron was smiling as did Sephiroth but then Kieron began to overpower him as if Sephiroth was getting weaker with every second the fight went on.
"What, are you already drained," says Kieron as he pierced his sword into Sephiroth.
Suddenly Sephiroth turns into a person with a long tunic on. Cloud and Tifa see him and Tifa says, "That can't be."
"It is. I told you about the experiment and the so-called successes that Hojo thought he made. He was one of them," says John as Kieron takes the sword out from the person.
He lays the person down and the last thing he said was, "Mother."
Then he died and began to wither away as the Mako was leaving his body. John walks over as Kieron makes the sword disappear in his space.
"He still is quite weak," says Kieron when John and the others nod.
"I hope he stays this weak now that we stopped him from taking Jenova. But we can't let Jenova stay here," says John as he walks over and he tries to use spatial magic when Nesiara puts her hand on his shoulder.
"You still aren't a master, don't push it," says Nesiara as she suddenly takes it away making it disappear with the whole container.
"With this, we should have slowed down Sephiroth for a while," says John as he turned to the others.
"Since we are here why not go to the top floor and speak with President Shinra what do you all say," says Nesiara as Barret was in the second she mentioned it.
The others were fine with it when John says, "Keep your eyes wide open he isn't the only one in which Sephiroth can manifest."
"Yes, I don't think he would just send one person when he already encountered Nora before," says Nesiara as she was quite alerted that Sephiroth even took the fight against them.
It was as he was trying to stall us so he could be doing something else while they were there.
"We should move and finish what we started," says John as they begin to move to the other elevator that was after passing another bridge.
"We do it like before," says John as everyone nods.
Once the group was taking the elevator up John says, "You four follow them. I will destroy everything on this floor before following you."
"You are going to destroy all the experiments of Hojo," says Nesiara as John nods.
"That's right. It's better to release them of their misery than let them live like that," says John as they nod.
John then looks down and says, "See you later."
Then he just jumps down while throwing ki ball to the walls to destroy everything while the family disappears from the bridge to join Aerith and the others.
The group sees four instead of five and Aerith asks, "What about John?"
"He went to destroy all the experiments that Hojo conducted," says Nesiara not needing to say more as the group understood what Nesiara meant with destroying and agreed that it would be for the best.
The see that the office was empty and Barret says angry, "Did that bastard hide."
"Could be," says Cloud as they walked towards the desk when the family heard someone call for help.
"No, he is outside calling for help," says Nora as everyone looked outside but didn't see anyone.
"Are you sure it isn't a ghost like last time with Aerith," says Tifa as she was getting some creepy vibes from thinking it is a ghost again.
"Pretty sure," says Nora as she walked outside with the family as the others follow.
Then they found President Shinra hanging on the side of the building with everything he had when Nora says, "Here he is before."
Barret began talking to him about his opinion while the family had a bad feeling looking around the whole time when Cloud asks, "Is everything alright?"
"Just a bad feeling," says Kieron as he tried to stay calm.
Barret then helps President Shinra up while saying, "If I were a different person you would have fallen to your demise but the battle would still go on..."
They went inside as the group followed when suddenly the bad feeling became reality as Sephiroth appears behind President Shinra and pierces through his heart as the blade comes out on the other side.
