"Huff…!"
Fang Zheng could feel the wind howling past his ears as he plummeted rapidly from the sky. Yet even so, he was in no mood to care about any of that, as his entire focus was now on the battle within his soul against the Power of the Abyss.
The method Fang Zheng thought of was the so-called "better to drain than to block." Since the Dark Soul was an indispensable part of everyone, rather than forcibly suppressing this power, it was better to find a way to control it, to guide and manage this force in a direction he desired.
But this was not going smoothly.
The berserk energy of the Abyss was incredibly wild. Fang Zheng felt as if his sanity was like a racer speeding full throttle in an AE86 on Akina Mountain, and what's more, it seemed that the brakes had failed at the current moment.
Thus, Fang Zheng had no way to stop its ongoing rush; he could only clutch tightly to the steering wheel, waiting for the moment when its energy would run out.
