The battle was nearing its end.

With a single slash, the undead soldier before him shattered. RIDER held his sword, looking around with determination. The warriors still following him were now less than one in ten.
RIDER had fought many battles in his life and was no stranger to danger. Yet, he had never seen a battlefield like this before.
The undead seemed endless, with no end in sight. No matter how many he killed, more would emerge.
The Scourge Legion lived up to its name.
One could not even tell which era this army was from.
RIDER was certain that even in his lifetime, he had never heard of such a fearsome legion. If such an Undead Legion had existed, his conquests might have been cut short long ago. Perhaps this was a creature of the mythical age?
If that were the case, at least he had not fought in vain.
With this thought, RIDER smiled again and looked ahead.
