While packing the chess pieces, he said meaningfully, "So many chess pieces are like puppets, their fate in the game is entirely in the hands of the player."
"Thinking of yourself as a mere chess piece means you're not yet arrogantly out of control," Ling Mingrui said coldly, staring at Luo Ziling, "I thought you were willing to do anything."
"Grandfather, I prefer acting spontaneously, so I'm definitely not suited for being an official," Luo Ziling said earnestly. "Being a pawn, ordered around by others, is not something I want. In cases where I don't want to, venting a little obviously isn't over the top, right?"
