"Goals are essential; what if they're achieved?" Luo Ziling smiled as he finished his speech and prepared to leave.
Dong Xiaowan was the first to recover from the shock. She quickly called out to him, saying she had something to report privately.
Luo Ziling didn't refuse and went to another room with Dong Xiaowan.
But to Dong Xiaowan's surprise, Wuyue followed them in.
"Um, could you step out for a moment?" Dong Xiaowan didn't want Wuyue listening in while she reported, so she quietly reminded her, "I'll be quick!"
Wuyue ignored her.
She believed that Luo Ziling wouldn't ask her to leave, as she was certainly more important to him than Dong Xiaowan.
Luo Ziling didn't disappoint Wuyue.
"It's fine; she's my manager and handles everything for me." Luo Ziling gestured for Wuyue to sit beside him, then said to Dong Xiaowan, "Go ahead, say what you need to say!"
