Sometimes Summer Ford is actually a bit afraid of Ethan Laurent when he gets angry. It's not that she's afraid of what he might do to her; it's just that she simply dislikes the way he looks at her when he's angry, with eyes so sharp it's as if they can tear her apart just with a glance.
Ethan Laurent glanced at her, staring at her coldly for a long time, forcing her against the wall beside her, and said in a chilly voice, "Hope I answer those calls?"
"That's your business; the decision is in your hands." Summer Ford responded without changing her expression.
She spoke so indifferently, as if the two of them were not related at all.
Ethan Laurent's already sharp gaze turned even harsher after her words.
"If there's nothing else, I'll head out first." Summer Ford averted her gaze from him, pushed past him, and calmly left the office.
"Stop!" Ethan Laurent's gaze followed her silhouette, as he shouted at her irritably.
