Ethan Laurent slept comfortably at Summer Ford's place for the night and woke up the next morning to the faint sounds coming from the kitchen.
He casually picked up the clothes scattered on the floor and put them on, then turned to the kitchen, where Summer was preparing breakfast, facing sideways towards him.
She was cooking porridge, probably knowing he liked light food, and the whole kitchen was steam-filled, making her face flush pink.
Ethan silently watched her clear side profile, took a few steps over, wrapped his arms around her from behind, and pushed her onto the counter behind them.
He leaned down and kissed her lips.
