Summer Ford was taken aback, her steps halted.
She seemed surprised to meet him in such an occasion, the surprise evident in her eyes.
But then again, upon further thought, at such an important event today, his attendance wasn't unexpected.
Snor Fairchild looked at her from a few meters away, quietly staring at her for quite a while, before approaching with two glasses of wine.
"Do you have time to sit with me for a while?" He handed her one of the glasses, then picked a tall chair nearby and sat down.
At that moment, Summer was unoccupied, so she didn't refuse.
"Is your wound doing better?" Her gaze shifted to his forehead, she couldn't help but scrutinize him.
"Are you concerned?" Snor asked back indifferently.
Summer paused, her words carefully chosen, "Is it not normal to care about a friend?"
"Is that so!" Snor seemed somewhat disappointed.
