Naselli also noticed Guding's unusual state, and couldn't help but let out a cold snort.
"To have the time to be distracted by other things while fighting me!"
What puzzled her was that although Guding's mind was no longer on the battle, the shadow above his head continued to gather, and it appeared to be forming into a human figure.
Naselli didn't act recklessly, not out of fear, but because she owed Guding a favor for some reason. This battle was just to follow the Path of Kings rules and stop Guding from passing, not to kill him. So she didn't attack the distracted Guding nor the shadow that was still gathering. She patiently waited in place, her eyes fixated on the changes in the black mist, curious about what it would finally condense into.
Not long after, the shadow in the void finally took shape.
It was a black figure, hidden beneath a wide cloak, floating in mid-air, towering tens of thousands of meters high, almost reaching the sky vault of the world.
