Ling Tian was handling the conquest of the gambler academy. With Sam and his friends gone, even Bloody Chariot disappearing, the chaos stabilized quite a bit. Some other academies did try to pick a bone with him.
However, they didn't have much choice in the matter. Sam essentially crippled only a bunch of academies. So, the remaining academies tried to take over the territory and resources. Everyone went into a defensive mode.
People thought there would be another ban on attacks between the academy. However, it wasn't activated at all.
And everyone focused on new recruits. They were recruiting heavily, in such large numbers that the conquest kinda destabilized.
