"That doesn't, unless," Lex paused. "Call Clark Kent." Lex said watching as the Ipod began to ring.
"Hey Lex, I heard you found Tess, how is she?" Clark's voice was clear.
"She's going to be fine, Clark I need a favor," Lex said.
"What's up I owe you one anyways," Clark responded.
"I'm sending you an address, I need you to get there as quickly as possible," Lex typed in the address.
"Got it on my way now," Lex didn't need to wait long as Clark responded about 20 seconds later. "I'm inside, turning on the lights now. Lex what is this place?"
"Clark i'm going to access your Ipod for it's camera feature just hold it up so I can see what you see," B2 seemed to understand instantly as the camera feed appeared a video of where Clark was. It was a warehouse human like figures hung from machinery, looking closer Lex couldn't help but frown. Clones, all kinds of clones, he could see himself, Lana, and even his father.
"Clark my father's dead, he mentioned rising from the ashes, I think he's cloned himself," Lex shook his head at the thought.
"I'm sorry for your loss, I think," Clark said moving the Ipod around as he looked around the warehouse.
"Things get worse, i'm pretty sure Lana is alive, I placed a tracker on Lillian before the accident. I wasn't able to access the tracker due to LuthorCorp systems being down but it's back up, she's alive." Lex could hardly believe it himself.
"Lex that's great news," Clark couldn't hide his excitement. "Why aren't you excited?"
"Because this means Lana faked her and Lillian's death and my father helped her, the only question is why?"
"Didn't Tess disappear around the time Lana had Lillian, she might know. I have to get back to Kara" Clark responded.
"You're right, thanks Clark, i'll deal with the clones, I'll need to take a look myself you get back to your cousin before she destroys the barn." Lex hung up sighing. There was so much to do and not a lot of time to do it. If he was right and Lionel had cloned himself it meant a plethora of things. The most important being he had the means to clone himself. How far had he taken the clone tech, had he attempted to create a superboy like clone or had he settled for a younger version of himself? Snapping himself out of it, he opted to deal with it later. For now he needed to deal with the police, once that was done he could talk with Tess.

"Just in billionaire Lex Luthor lost his wife and child a few weeks back due to an accident, now just yesterday his father the pioneer of LuthorCorp himself took his own life leaping from the very company he built. Today is a sad day for Metropolis and especially Lex Luthor the man who continues to grieve."
"Grive what?" Tess's voice one full of anger and disgust echoed out as the tv screen flickered off.
Knock Knock
"Come in," The door opened revealing it to be Lex. Looking inside Tess still rested in bed, but she looked better than she had in the chamber.
"How are you Tess?" Lex asked entering the room.
"I'm doing better, beats being stuck in a warehouse for three weeks." a smile appeared on her face. "So the old man couldn't deal with the guilt and committed suicide?"
"No, he felt no guilt, tell me about the clones Tess," Lex shook his head pitying his sister as he took a seat across from her. He could see th e pain on her face, Lionel in his yearning for the perfect image realized she didn't his mold for a happy family. So he got rid of her sent her to an orphanage and then to isolate Lex he kidnapped her because she knew something Lex wanted to know what that was.
"The clones," Tess said staring off into space. "Lionel he told Lana you were keeping secrets, that it was worse than floor 33.1. He gave her a access card, she wouldn't take no for an answer so we went and took a look."
"I'm sorry Lex," Tess said as she looked up at him. "The shock sent her into labour, she thought you were mad. Now she's dead."
"No she isn't," Lex said watching as shock appeared on Tess' face.
"How?"
"Our father loves his games doesn't he, it's more likely that he convinced Lana to fake his death, we've all done it before. I did it when he tried to kill me after his trial that sent him to prison with Chloe. The clones only made it easier to prove, to think he'd go this far." Lex shook his head standing up. "Lana faked her death to get out of our marriage, she took Lillian away from me instead of talking to me. I've done my best to keep her safe to tell her the truth and she betrays me anyways."
His anger had no where to go, He'd spent the last few weeks thinking his wife and daughter were dead. Only to find out that they had run away, because Lana in her head still thought him the villain.
"I'm going to get my daughter back, you get some rest." Lex didn't wait for a response exiting the room he found Elizabeth looking at him worry on her face.
"Don't allow you emotions to lead you Lex, don't make a mistake with this girl she's still the mother of your child. She made a mistake, we all do, don't become your father." She said nothing else simply placing a kiss on his cheek.

Small town in europe
Lex could smell the flowers, this place seemed cleaner almost. He stopped in front of a small house, it paled in comparison to Nell's house let alone the mansion. So this was where Lana had run off to, she hadn't been here long. It seemed she had a bit of money that allowed her to stay on the run. His father had gone to extensive lengths to make sure Lex never found out they were still alive. The tracker had come in handy, it gave lex a bit of insight into how the past few weeks had been for Lillian. She had been everywhere from Spain to Poland before stopping in this small town. Getting the keys to the palace had been easy, especially when he dangled money in the owners face. Unlocking the door he walked inside, he could hear the shower running but overall the place was quiet. Walking deeper into the place he spotted a brown worn crib. His steps were slow but steady as he looked inside spotting a sleeping Lillian. Her red hair already threatening to sprout, placing his brief case down he reached into her crib.
It had been close to a month and a half since he'd last seen her, he had taken Elizabeth's advise. He allowed his emotions to cool knowing at the very least Lilli was alive was enough for him to send guards to watch over them to secure there safety. Holding Lilli he felt his bones at peace, the weight on his chest lifting. He had finally found her.
"Daddy never letting you go again," He whispered as he held her softly.
Hearing the water stop running he turned to look at the bathroom door. Lana soon entered in a bath robe, she was using a towel to dry her hair. Her skin bright, her smile a thing of beauty. It took her a few seconds to look up but the horror that appeared in her eyes made it all worth it.
"Put her down Lex!" Lana's voice was filled with anger, fear, and the protectiveness of a mother.
"I haven't seen my daughter in close to a month you'll have to forgive me for not wanting to let her go," Lex smiled as he placed a kiss atop Lilli's head.
"How did you find us, you were supposed to think we were d-"
"I did!" Lex's voice never raised above a whisper but his jaw clenched as he spoke. "I spent the first 3 weeks thinking my wife and daughter were dead. Then the tracker activated and I felt as if the gods had given me another chance."
"You put a tracker on your own daughter?" Lana asked as tears began to flow in her eyes.
"I told you the moment she was born that I would do anything to protect her, I just didn't think i'd need to protect her from you." Shaking his head he could hardly look at her, "You asked for truth Lana, I gave you truth. Yet you still believed me to be the villain."
"You were making clones Lex, how was I supposed to know what plans you had with them? Would you replace me when I didn't fit the mold of the perfect wife?" Lana asked.
"I didn't even know about the clones, you let my father manipulate you. I just thought after everything you'd have some faith in me."
"No, why?" Lana questioned.
"He wanted LuthorCorp back and he needed you and Lilli out of the picture, he wanted to isolate me and you let him. But he's doesn't matter anymore, I'm taking Lillian back and considering the fact that you're legally dead you have no rights to her anymore." Lex reached over grabbing a bag that was clearly Lillian's things.
"You're not taking her anywhere," Lana reached into a drawer pulling out a pistol pointing it at Lex's head.
"I'll let the fact that you just pulled a gun on me and your daughter slide because I know the feeling of losing your child. If you want to be a part of her life you'll read whats in here. Goodbye Lana." Exiting the room Lex made sure to wrap Lili up tight before heading out the door.
Lana watched him leave before falling to her knees in agony, the gun in her hand falling to her side she couldn't believe this was happening. Looking at the briefcase she wiped her eyes before picking it up.
