To prevent the Flying Fish Boss's corpse from being washed away by the giant waves or refreshed by the system, the Flying, without leaving the fleet, bumped and transmitted all the way to the floating corpse site identified by Deirdre.
And when the Flying reached the site, Da Fei's least desired situation occurred: the corpse was gone!
As an NPC, Deirdre certainly would not mistake the location; the only possibility is the corpse was brushed away by the system or washed away by the waves. Generally speaking, the corpses of regular troops have at least a day of game time preservation for players to resurrect; Da Fei believes a Boss's corpse can't disappear so quickly, so it can only be washed away by giant waves.
