In the Emei Sect, the seniority of a member is dependent on the number of jade bangles that they have on their hands or feet. The jade bangles also serve as a way for the sect members to locate each other when outside of the sect premises. Emei Sect members can only be given a jade bangle when they have been dispatched outside at least once, and it also proves as a testament to the trust that the sect has given them.
"I am sorry, sister. I was just out of it due to some lack of sleep. I was about to get some medicine for my lightheadedness, but it seems that I have dozed off while walking. I have been guarding the entrance with my fellow sister that is experiencing the same symptoms. I was about to get us medicine so that both of us can feel better." Adrian stated as an excuse.
