Adrian could see that Vio's soul is flickering and that he might die at a much earlier rate if he did not do anything. Adrian immediately told Iremia to make sure that Vio holds on because he will find a way to help him immediately. Iremia did not want to say that life needs to go on because she knows the bond that both Vio and Telos has. They practically grew up together and Vio is the only creature that made sure that Telos is safe.
It would be incredibly disingenuous for them to not try and save Vio because he blocked an attack for Telos. If they need to repay someone then they need to repay Vio right now as he is the savior of their child. If Vio did not block the attack then Telos might have died earlier today.
"I will ask the gods and goddesses of life if they can heal him, my child. Do not worry and look for a way to help him in your own way." Iremia stated even though she also knew that Vio would likely die in a few days.
