Jacob smiled and shook his head slowly at his lover.
"That's okay. Besides, it's not good to avoid your parents' requests, especially since your dad specifically called me. Hopefully, this meeting will be a good step for us." Lary sighed upon hearing her lover's response. She hadn't expected Jacob to be so serious about her. Was Jacob not afraid of her father?
