None of them charged at Tang Shaoyang to save their leader. They watched everything from above, as if they were waiting for Tang Shaoyang to kill Geralt.

Geralt didn't know why his regeneration didn't work. Despite his high Vitality, his lower half didn't regenerate. He understood why his energy was in chaos, but he didn't understand his natural regeneration. He was bleeding out, but he knew he would not die from this as well.
