The corners of Hong Gwi's eyes quiver. "If she is here, do you think that she would want to meet us?"
"If she is sane, she won't." Rue Yim gazes toward the lands below Tiguaq. "I need to understand this world better. I have been feeling odd since I came here."
"Odd?" Hong Gwi probes.
"Just…" Rue Yim knits her brows together. "Something bigger is in the motion."
"Isn't like that always?"
It is. However, this doesn't only affect one or two individuals. Rue Yim can't explain why she is sensing ominous air in the air. It is frightening her, even after what she had gone through. "Do you know how to get down there?"
"Yes." Hong Gwi doesn't explain further. He gives a formal bow to the man who is reaching for Rue Yim's arm. The man ignores him.
Rue Yim turns her head toward the man in annoyance, thinking that Hong Gwi is stopping her from leaving. But she sees the smiling face of Wang Si. Perhaps, his smile is unpleasant, sending chills in her blood. She swallows instinctively.
