The words made absolutely no sense.
He wanted to feel what being dead was?
Everybody avoided death. Everybody ran from death. And here he was, as the Wheel of Existence broke apart, claiming he wanted to die alongside it?
The Great Beyonder went silent in her massive form. She still hadn't gotten a handle on this unique entity who should have been her junior by now.
The first thing was that he said a lot of ridiculous, crazy, and unfathomable things- things that, to others, seemed purely impossible. Or simply unbelievable.
He said them. And then he did them, as others stared at him in incredulity.
The other thing was that he wasn't stupid. He knew full well what he was doing, and what the repercussions would be.
So if he said, right now, that he planned to feel what being a Dead Thing feels like…
Then he truly did plan to be in this frequency of existence when the Wheel itself shattered, as the weavings of death unfolded.
