At his words, Khor continued tapping, her finger a metronome of casual destruction.
She answered with a philosophical shrug that seemed to encompass all of existence.
"That is both simple and impossibly difficult."
She paused, as if savoring the paradox.
"It is simple because… it is your existence. Your Everythings. You can do whatever you wish with what is yours, right? The same should apply for any being. But it is impossibly difficult because it is like telling a normal, manaless being that they have blood flowing through their veins, and it is theirs to command as they wish. They know the blood is there, they know it is theirs… but they cannot willfully command it to do anything. Even for an Inevitability and its Everythings… some may not succeed when they try to give parts of themselves to their Hearts. Some… may even die."
…!
The analogy was chillingly perfect. A manaless being trying to control their blood might give themselves an aneurysm.
