"Sure!" Fenfen nodded happily.
Ji Anning became anxious and hurried over, "Fenfen, stop bothering Mr. Charles, come down and play by yourself."
Using the excuse of worrying that Fenfen might be annoying, she reached out, took Fenfen from Charles's arms, set her on the ground, then straightened up and smiled at Charles, asking, "Mr. Charles, hadn't you just left?"
Charles looked down at little Fenfen and sighed deeply, "Ah, I really missed Fenfen. That big house, without her joyful laughter, felt like something was missing."
What did he mean? Was he hinting something to her?
Ji Anning pulled Fenfen closer behind her, then looked at Charles nervously, "I... I said I would bring Fenfen back."
"You don't need to be nervous." Charles gave Ji Anning a reassuring smile and spoke pleasantly, "I gave you two months, I just came to see Fenfen. If you hadn't come, I was planning to look for you."
Ji Anning sighed with relief, "Thank you, Mr. Charles."
