"Yes, sir," Li Bo replied.
"How are things on Su Guo'an's side?" He Jingyao asked.
Li Bo thought for a moment, "Mr. Huo said that Mr. Su refuses to let the Young Mistress donate bone marrow for him."
"Why?" He Jingyao's voice suddenly deepened.
"Mr. Huo and the lady didn't explain the reason..." Li Bo realized something was amiss as he spoke, "I'll investigate it first thing tomorrow."
"Hmm, you should have thought of that," He Jingyao's voice carried a hint of displeasure.
"My mistake."
"Also," He Jingyao said while he was going through files over the phone, "Li Bo, you pride yourself on being experienced. So, do you think I should try to coax her?"
Li Bo was taken aback, then he expressed relief, "Yes, Young Master, you've finally come around."
He Jingyao was unmoved by his flattery and dropped a, "I'll leave it to you," before hanging up the phone.
