Xiaozhou's face looked even worse.
He Jingyao curled his lips ambiguously, turned to Zhixi, held her hand, and said with a smile, "Let's go. Steak for dinner."
"Sure, I'll make it for you!" Zhixi replied cheerfully, "How about medium-well? I can't really handle medium-rare. It has to be Uncle Li to get it right."
"Let's go with medium-well then." He Jingyao agreed reluctantly.
Zhixi immediately smiled brightly.
The guy watched the two gradually walk away, his face turning from red to white, eventually lowering his head slowly.
After walking some distance away, Zhixi sneaked a glance at the man beside her, "Jingyao, are you... angry?"
"Hmm?" He raised an eyebrow, still smiling.
"Some people say you're mooching or whatever..." Zhixi pondered, "Don't bother about what others say; I'm happy to support you!"
A hint of amusement flashed in He Jingyao's eyes.
"I'm not angry." He smiled slightly, "Not everyone has the credentials to mooch. I think he's just jealous."
