"Who?" Zhixi widened her eyes, suspecting it might be someone she knew.
"Xia Xinyu." He Jingyao curved his lips.
Zhixi gasped in disbelief!
"But she... how could she..." Zhixi was utterly surprised because she hadn't heard this name in a long time. "When did she get out of prison?"
"More than six months ago, maybe?" He Jingyao pondered for a moment.
Zhixi looked at him suspiciously, "You... have you been in touch with her privately all this time?"
"Of course not." He Jingyao denied without hesitation, "Why would I contact her? But since she did some bad things back then, I have to know her whereabouts just in case."
Zhixi was quickly convinced and nodded in agreement, "So she didn't go back to find He Yizheng... That's good. She should've realized it long ago!"
A hint of a smile flickered in He Jingyao's eyes.
Zhixi was oblivious as she had already walked to the nursery, where one of the little girls was awake.
The nanny saw them, nodded, and sensibly walked out.
