In the royal court's large tent, the atmosphere turned somewhat eerie.
All the Half-Beasts looked at the Sorren Commerce envoy, the elderly human mage seated above, with eyes that ranged from odd to confused, angry to bewildered.
Whispers gradually arose, but because Half-Beasts were naturally loud, even their hushed discussions were clearly audible inside the tent.
