Watching the new elves emerge from the bushes, Atos felt a bit of admiration for their persistence.
Clearly, they couldn't win, yet they kept rushing to their deaths; they were indeed a bunch of crazy folks...
Even with Hercules' strength, the number of these long-eared people wouldn't matter, but Atos couldn't figure out why they kept attacking the two of them.
*Did they take them for adventurers?*
*Were they angry about adventurers entering the fractured Divine Country?*
*But that didn't seem right either...*
As a demigod, Atos assumed he could see through the thoughts of ordinary beings, but he couldn't see through these elves...
It was understandable why these elves showed no fear since they didn't fear death and could be resurrected.
Although he didn't know the cost and risks of the elves' resurrection, this at least gave them the courage to fight desperately.
*But... what else was there?*
*Did they simply want to expel the two of them?*
