"Your Grace Eve, that's everything I know."
After speaking, the dwarf and God of Forging slightly bowed to Eve apologetically.
Although He didn't clarify why He made this gesture, Eve could roughly understand His intention.
This was Dorfte expressing guilt towards the Elf Clan.
After all, if viewed from a character perspective, Eve was not just the "successor" of the World Tree's divine role, but also the "avenger" for the Elf Clan.
The gods once betrayed the World Tree.
Even though Dorfte wasn't involved, if He wanted to get close to Eve, He would certainly need to explain past events clearly.
This counts as a statement.
At least from Dorfte's perspective, it's so.
And regarding this matter, Eve had nothing to say or comment on.
The True God is no saint, and the predecessor did not form His own divine system, so naturally, it's impossible to expect other True Gods to work themselves to the bone for Him.
Eve found no fault in Dorfte's choice.
