Several days after the competition ended, on Xia's Restaurant's official website, the closure announcement hanging at the top of the homepage was finally replaced with a cartoon graphic proclaiming "Preparation for Reopening, Thank You for Waiting."
Xia's Restaurant's regular customers were certainly familiar with the cartoon image of maids with black and blond hair bowing at a ninety-degree angle. This was the guide that led them through the online ordering process, a character design beautifully crafted by Eri Eri.
In the morning, winter sunlight scattered across Far Moon Back Mountain Farm.
Ichise Hui, donned in work attire and muddy boots, stood with documents and a pen, sketching and saying to the newly recruited employees lined up in front: "Kogai, Kono, you two will continue to manage the seed room—is that clear?"
"No problem!"
The young employees responded loudly.
Ichise Hui continued to delegate tasks to the new recruits.
