Another night.
In the hotel room, Gu Qiangwei lay on the bed, her brow furrowed with worry.
"Qin Sijue, do you think Li Yuan might..." She trailed off, really not wanting to think of the worst, but it had been a week, and Li Yuan still hadn't woken up.
Qin Sijue also sighed lightly. To believe that Li Yuan would never wake up again in this lifetime was something he wasn't willing to accept.
"Maybe, he'll wake up tonight."
A sentence casually slipped out from between his lips.
Gu Qiangwei couldn't help but glance at him, "You're always speaking without realizing the pain behind your words!"
"Otherwise, what do you want me to say? That he'll never wake up?" Qin Sijue also glanced at her, softly questioning.
Gu Qiangwei hesitated, seemingly not wanting him to say that either.
She sighed softly, turning her gaze towards the dark night outside the window.
Hopefully, just as Qin Sijue said, when they went to the hospital the next morning, Li Yuan would have woken up.
