An inn, burnt to the ground. His half brother, half dead. And his father's most trusted man having born witness to the fraud.
The hell he had experienced trapped in the body of a raven now seemed like salvation, in retrospect. What he would give to still be a bird, far from the current troubles he had landed in. A carriage with his only chance of salvation rode north. But no matter the outcome of the game an invisible hand had just set in motion, nothing would ever be the same.
