Having learned that even the most common people in this world could provide a significant amount of the Power of Faith, Li Ang had devised his next course of action: to act as a charlatan, a revered and widely respected charlatan at that. To achieve this goal, he had to make use of his previously fabricated identity, 'Taoist Priest Xi Menzi,' creating as much presence for Taoist Head Xi Menzi as possible and spreading legendary tales of his deeds. Showing off miracles in front of people and increasing his trendiness value—or, in other words, showing off and slapping faces—was the best method to create presence.
