As the clock struck one in the morning, Li Ang, fully armed and standing silently in the living room, exchanged a glance with Chaichai. Chaichai was focused on Li Ang's appearance while casually playing with his phone on the sofa.
"I'm off," Li Ang said.
"Mhm." Chaichai nodded, pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose, and said in a feigned male voice, "Don't worry, I'll guard this home."
"You're being weird again." Li Ang chided Chaichai with a light chop to the head. He then took a deep breath, opened the player panel, and mentally pressed the newly launched Game Square button.
Without any issues, when he opened his eyes again, Li Ang found himself in a vast square.
The square's ground was paved with white tiles, each ten meters square, their material indiscernible. The space above the square was peculiar; it wasn't a hemispherical dome or a square ceiling. Looking up, one could see a large cluster of black, white, and gray geometric shapes.
