Tang Long was a fictional character from a piece of documentary-style street stall literature. In it, Tang Long's original name was Frank Chen, nicknamed "Big Axe." He was a king of underground fighting, and his deeds were shocking and awe-inspiring. These alleged feats included hailing from the world's most brutal Siberian Combatant Training Camp, completing 600 repetitions of 100-kilogram deep squats in two hours, effortlessly kicking through iron columns with leg sweeps, and even killing polar bears with his bare hands.
Because this street literature wildly exaggerated his tales, making them incredibly cool and full of gimmicks, it spread widely more than a decade ago. Many people were even convinced he was real, believing there truly was an underground fighting king named Tang Long. Ultimately, he became an urban legend fervently discussed by netizens, ranking alongside the mythical "Dragon Group Instructor" and "Skies Hitman."
