Shen Qinglan had never expected that the person who took Anan away would be Allen, and even less that Allen was actually still alive. Her eyes trembled lightly as her gaze fell upon Anan, who was already running toward Shen Qinglan.
"Mommy," Shen Qinglan squatted down and hugged Anan in her arms, "Anan, you scared mommy to death."
"Mommy, I missed you so much," Anan's childish voice carried a cry.
Shen Qinglan's eyes reddened slightly, "Mommy missed you too." The heart that had been hanging in suspense finally settled in that moment. Fu Hengyi followed behind Shen Qinglan, glancing at the embracing mother and child before his eyes fell on Allen.
He and Shen Qinglan had guessed everyone but had never thought that the person who took Anan would be him; after all, they had believed that Allen might have been dead, or even if he were alive, he wouldn't show up in Lin City.
