Chapter 12 - 9. Ramuh Guidance

"Damn!" Zane sighed, it had been half a day of constant movement trying to catch up with Ozar. He was almost exhausted the energy he took from Valborn was all used up. "Hopefully I can steal some energy from his guards before I fight." The Blue Eyed Demon thought to himself.

--------------------

"Alright everyone that's all for today." A tall old man gave a warm smile. "You are all dismissed, I will be in my office if you need me." The man walked off towards a large three story manner shaped like a "U".

"Can we trust this "Ramuh" man, Captain?"

"Please call me "Mustang", as for your question Miss Tian I can't answer." Mustang crossed his arms. "So far he has helped us in understanding this world and everyone's new found abilities."

"He even has found most of the students we got separated from when he teleported us." A bald teacher spoke from behind them.

"Mr. Adam." Tian jumped out of her skin.

"Oh, I'm sorry didn't mean to scare you." Adam gave a smile.

Mustang gave a nod. "Speaking of that, how many are left?"

Adam put on a serious face "We are missing ten students and Mrs. Chloe. Ramuh has been looking for them when he isn't helping us."

Mustang looked out at all the students moving throughout the training field giving a deep sigh. "Just keep an eye and ear out... I find it hard to trust him, I mean look around he could have a small army if he plays his cards right."

--------------------

Zane stopped for a short breather while looking around. "Sun is behind the trees. I need to keep moving."

--------------------

After the group of teachers got the students situated for the day, Mr. Adam and Mustang found them selves standing in front of the white wizards office. Mustang had a serious face while Adam had a concerned face.

"You ready Adam?"

Adam gave a quick nod.

Mustang reached out his arm and knocked on Ramuh door. "Mr. Ramuh, may we speak?"

"Yes, please enter." Ramuh spoke in a kind grandfatherly voice. "Oh, Adam also." The Wizard stood up and gave a bow. "What do I owe the pleasure?" He gave a curious gaze.

Mustang carried a serious expression while Adam had a slight smile.

"Evening Ramuh we--" Adam spoke first but was interrupted

"What are your plans for us? What do you hope to achieve?" Mustang crossed his arms and held a firm gaze.

"Oh..." The wizard thought for a moment before gesturing to his two chairs in front of his desk. "Have a seat, I've been waiting for this conversation actually. Just was waiting for you guys to come to terms with what has been happening." Ramuh narrowed his eyes. "I'll be frank with you both, I've been struggling with wrapping my head around your people's predicament..." the White Wizard sighed. "I was able to feel you all enter this world but I haven't the faintest clue as to what magic was used. My instincts told be to help you but I can't, and if I can't help you then It's almost guaranteed nobody else can." he gave a warm smile. "So I thought of doing what I can, which is helping you all with your new found abilities and give general knowledge of this world. I genuinely wish to show you all guidance so that you wouldn't end up in the wrong hands."

"Wrong hands?" Adam furrowed his brows.

"This world is filled with many evils and little good. I didn't want to see you all be used or killed. I am both curious and concerned about you all." Ramuh put on a concerned face. "You all have abilities I have never seen before and those that are familiar are more powerful then anything I've seen. You all have extremely high potential to threaten these lands if used in the wrong."

"I see." Mustang looked at Adam. "I think we understand your worries."

Adam nodded his head and spoke in an apologetic tone. "We are sorry for the trouble you my come into. And think you for everything you've done."

"Hoho, no need to be so apologetic, it's what I do. Guiding those in need is what I do." Ramuh smiled "I will be leaving shortly I have to follow up on some leads on your missing people. I will also let you know if I figure out anything about your predicament."

Mustang serious expression softened. "Could I perhaps join you.... I would like to see this world?"

"If that will help you trust me a little better I don't mind."

--------------------

It took Zane two hours till he finally caught up close enough to see the large group of Orcs. "Damn!"

The blue eyed teen looked over the large group of Orcs noticing the two girls. "Before I get them I need to recharge." Zane double checked the large group. "72, but if I hit hard and draw Ozar out the others won't interfere. But I need those 2 to safety." Zane sighed "Troublesome."

Zane moved swiftly to the left flank of the Orc column while being concealed in the large first they were surrounded by. He then lifted his right arm and pointed his pointer and middle finger at the first cart. He channeled his remaining energy towards the tip of his fingertips.

"STRIKE!... STRIKE!... STRIKE!" Zane whispered before letting 3 black bolts of lightning leave his fingers. Each ferocious bolt traveled towards 3 different target's, the first 2 being the transports with the Orcs with black armor. The blue eyed teen figured they would be trouble if given the chance to fight. The 3rd bolt hit the most important looking carriage.

*BOOM!!* Three large crackling booms went of thought the forest.

--------------------

"Good luck Captain Mustang, I'll be sure to look after everyone." Floki spoke in a almost trust full tone. The European man now had strange rune like tattoos all over his body, some depicting a strange creature with horns.

"Please." Tian said in her mind. "Well, Mustang be safe." The Asian woman spoke with worry.

"I'll be ok with Ramuh, you two please try and get along!" Mustang said in a commanding tone.

"Mr. Mustang, are you ready to depart?" The white wizard spoke with a warm smile.
