The moment those words escaped from her lips, Lily and Akko eyes widened in surprise and appreciation of their newfound guild. "I think Stardust Night is a great name for our guild," Lily commented before Akko slammed her hands on the table.
"Hold on, we don't even have the coin to buy a building to be our quarters of operation! Shouldn't we work for another guild first so the rest of you can get adventuring experience before branching out into our own guild?" The question was warranted since Yukina wasn't really the type to willingly just go on adventures back home. Yukina folded her arms standing by the decision she's made for the group.
"Think about it like this, you already have some experience out in the field hailing from a family of knights, Adeo well, mainly has his strength. Lily is experienced in healing magicks so I think in that regard it should be fine, as for our coin we just have to work our way up, between helping Mister Hughes and slaying monsters for coins I think it'll work out." She assured Akko who by this point had taken the initiative to sit back down once she understood Yukina's argument. "Regardless we should sleep on this topic, everyone had a long day today and we'll need our mind and strength for tomorrow."
Once everyone had paid for their drinks and meal the quartet all retired to their respective rooms to sleep off the fatigue that plagued the entirety of the party. The sun's ascension into the morning sky abolished Yukina's drowsiness. She was still adjusting to living in a different town, the day was accompanied with bustling white noise from the magitech cars passing by and the pedestrians that traverse the streets below. The achromatic-haired Vulpian forced herself out of bed so she could get the day started, in her mind naught would get done rejecting the prospect of waking up.
Lily and Yukina were usually the first two to wake up in the morning followed by Akko and Adeo being the last to wake up, usually one of the three of them having to drag him out the bed. Once the party filled their stomach with Porcus Bacon, Scrambled Eggs and various fruits they collectively; albeit without Adeo's input, decided to visit Hughes' smithy so Yukina could learn from him and hopefully get him to supply them with some inkling of equipment.
"Hm, I think I see the main problem with your forging technique, you don't seem to be using enough of your materials with forging blades causing them to be brittle and be more susceptible to fracturing." Hughes commented, while inspecting a blade that Yukina had made, in his hand the blade might as well have been a feather, so light and fragile it was inconceivable how one could fight with it.
"I didn't have enough funds to have a stockpile of metals, however I have been thinking about making a guild to acquire more coin." Yukina replied, her statement caused Hughes to scratch his head, confused by the thought of someone creating a whole guild just to make ends meet. The Dimian sighed, he felt as if he was obligated to help her after all she offered him her help and if he supplied her a weapon; a means of safeguarding his wares.
"I can offer you and your group supplies to help you guys get started, however I will have a job for you lot." Adeo and Akko jumped with elation at the prospect of fighting strong monsters leaving Lily and Yukina to sigh in disbelief. "Anyroad, go ahead and choose a single weapon you would like to use for now." He instructed. Yukina was already looking around at the wares but now had the permission to inspect these items more closely. She grabbed the hilt of a beautiful decorative long sword. The achromatic-haired Vulpian nodded, solidifying her choice. Akko proceeded to procure the largest sword she could find. Lily was content with a simple staff with a basic arcane crystal at the top and Adeo decided that he didn't need a weapon due to his confidence in his own abilities.
"Thank you so much, sir- we'll be back after making our guild official!" Yukina exclaimed before placing a sheathe in the sword and walking out the door with the rest of her party. The quartet returned to the footpath once more, their destination was for the Celestial Cathedral of the Holy Providence occupying the exact center of Mabel. Upon their arrival, Yukina stared in amazement at the sheer size of the building. The cathedrals are located in every city on the star but this was larger than the one in Vertelia, possibly due to the amount of people and lucrative nature of Mabel.
The party steeled themselves and entered the cathedral and were greeted by a clerk. Everyone in the building wore a white, blue and gold uniform to match the interior of the cathedral as a testament to their god. The quartet looked around in awe at the architecture that surrounded them until one of the staff walked up to them.
"Salutations, service doesn't start until two unless you have business being here?" a blonde Virian priestess asked. Yukina cleared her throat in response to regain her composure.
"Yes, we would like to start a guild." Yukina replied with a confident grin or at least she thought it was but on the outside it was a stoic visage.
"Oh, well then follow me to the guild registration counter." The priestess replied before leading the group over to the left of the nave toward the counters where there were clerks standing in booths with the clerks already attending to a few clients, Yukina stepped in line patiently awaiting her turn.
"Next, hello, welcome to the Mabel Cathedral, what can I assist you with today?" The rabbit-earred female clerk smiled at Yukina, who was barely taller than the counter, everything below her shoulders being hidden by the wooden counter surface. Yukina informed the Lepian clerk about how she wanted to officially register a guild with the church. "Yes, of course; could you please fill out this registration form and your initialization fee will be two hundred and fifty aurum." After Yukina had filled out the registration; which included the name of the owner, guild name, purpose and a design for the insignia; she dug into her coin purse and pulled out the amount needed for the registration fee, the clerk signed off the form and placed the bag of coins into a drawer under the counter on the inside of the booth. "With that, Stardust Night has officially been founded! May the Caelestis guide you."
