Approaching the entrance to the manor with roswal to my side, he begins to speak. "You applied to the position of combat butler and booooodyguard at the meeeeercenary guild. cooreeeect?"
I nod, "That's what I'm here for, yes. The agreed-upon price for bodyguard duty is 25 silver, daily, the price for cooking and cleaning services is an extra 15 silver daily, are these prices acceptable, sir?" He nods, happily.
"As long as you pass the tests our two other servants have, you are welcome to charge that price."
My instincts scream at me, and I Soru to the left, leaving an afterimage, and then dashing forward as a morningstar with an extended chain passes through where i was standing before,

I hear two feminine voices call out.
I split the magical icicle in half and dodge the blade of wind, with another application of Soru.
Quickly I soru behind The blue-haired maid I know as Rem, and tap her lightly on the head with the dull side of my blade, saying "The beautiful blue-haired maid is dead."
She blushes and then stops attacking.
I then Soru behind Ram, and then say "Another dead maid, how sad." after lightly tapping the dull side of my blade on her head as well.
nodding, I shout, "I think I pass, yes?" as the two other occupents of the castle show themselves.
I bow to my employer and Puck, who seems rather tired. "Lia, You brought me out for this? It's almost time for me to go to bed. I agree that our new employee is skilled but I don't see why you need a personal bodyguard. Aren't i enough?"
I bow and say, "It is nice to meet a great spirit." He then approaches me. "You have permission scratch me behind my ears." I nod and do so, "He's good Lia, I think he's worth the 50 daily silver."
Emelia blushes in embarassment.
"I apologise for puck's behavior, He usually does this when meeting new people. He says it's how he appraises their character, but I think he just likes having his ears scratched."

"Alrighty, Lia, He's safe and doesn't have any motive behind money, and not dying so you can keep him." He then whispers something in Rem's ear, which i pick up with my superhuman senses.
"I think he has a crush on you already, don't mess up, he seems like a keeper, girl."
Rem, then turns bright red. I glance at her and tilt my head. Then steam seems to start coming out of her ears. she then bows and rushes off after saying,
"I believe I left the soup on, Ram, Let's go."
"Yes, dear sister, who has an obvious crush on our new colleague. We, the responsible maids we are, must keep the non-existant soup from burning." Ram jokes.
Rem seems to stumble a moment and Roswal looks amused. She then, continues forward in silence. Glancing at me every few steps.
