"Now what?" Claire asked, still stunned by the tables turning in their favor. "They still have to draw up the contract so it's not like we have anything to do until then."
Alex shrugged. "We could go out. I have been to New York before but never had a proper look around. Visiting every state was on your bucket list, wasn't it? Was there anything specific you wanted to do here?"
There were so many things to do here that fitting them all into one day would be impossible. But she supposed they would have to stick around a little longer in order to be sure the hit was properly called off.
"Give me a second," Claire requested. She had to make a list of things to do on her phone.
There were touristy places to visit, restaurants to try, and she did love musicals so she had always wanted to see a Broadway show. Now that she didn't have to adhere to any of the Harringtons' wishes, she could experience New York more fully before leaving and hopefully never coming back.
