( Yuuki's POV )
The normal students finished announcing their stats and their eyes started to fall on us, the unknown second class that appeared.
Yuuki: My turn I guess, Kurokawa B. Yuuki, class, synergist, my stats, strength, magic and speed 300 all others 75, skills, Aptitude All Attribute, Resist All Elements, limit Break, transmutation, language comparison, that's all.
Meld: Wow, that's a peculiar combination of stats for a class not specialized in combat.
I could only shrug at the head knight's comment, the rest of the club presented their results and Meld was pleasantly surprised when he heard that Rizu also had the hero class, while that was happening, Hajime, who had shown his stats, was holding his plate close to his chest and had a defeated look, Meld took the plate and he was visibly confused with what he was seeing, he even hit the plate to see if it was not malfunctioning but that wasn't the case, Hajime's stats were simply bad.
Hajime's stats were 10 all around, which were the stats of a normal person in this world, and he only had the transmutation ability, which wasn't incredible but that didn't make him useless, Although someone thought that was a reason for mockery, a boy with a thug appearance approached Hajime and snatched his status plate, in his introduction I think he said his name was Daisuke.
Daisuke: What is this Hajime, all your stats are garbage, can you even fight like this?
Hajime: Who knows, I won't know that until I try.
The other students barely reacted to Daisuke's abuse, which told me that this was a common occurrence, Not even the hero seemed to have any intention of stopping him, the only one who seemed about to act was his teacher, little Aiko, but I was faster than her.
I can't stand those who abuse those weaker than them, especially when that someone is my family, so I approached the bully.
Yuuki: hey, can i see that?
Daisuke: Huh? Who the hell are yo-Uhhgg.
I called the boy Daisuke and when he turned around with an annoyed expression I delivered a powerful blow to his stomach that made him vomit all its contents onto the ground.
The sound of the punch echoed through the courtyard and the students were speechless but when they recovered, the hero's group and Aiko ran to where I was.
Aiko: Hey, violence, it's not good!
Yuuki: Tell that to him, he's the one who was harassing Hajime for no reason.
Aiko: well that is-
Kouki: Hiyama must have been worried that Hajime's low stats might put him in and others danger.
I heard the hero's words with a raised eyebrow and even Aiko didn't know what to say to that.
Yuuki: you don't really believe that bullshit, right? someone else can tell me that's what was going on.
I gave the rest of the students a cold stare and none of them said anything, then I stared at the hero and tried to analyze him, he has no reason to hate Hajime, the only reason he would come up with such ridiculous logic to justify letting Hajime suffer was the stalker, Kouki probably has feelings for Kaori and he doesn't like or can't understand why she looks at Hajime so much.
It looked like a fight was going to break out between the hero and me so Aiko had to get between us, even though she wasn't exactly a big authority figure.
Aiko: still, you went too far Hiyama is seriously injured.
While we were talking the thug remained kneeling clutching his stomach and continued to groan in pain but I wasn't buying his act.
Yuuki: he's just pretending, hey I'm going to smash your head in later if you don't stop that.
The guy Daisuke froze upon hearing my words and then he stood up in a hurry and walked away from where we were.
Yuuki: Well, maybe I went too far, but what do you expect when I see someone messing with my brother?
Kaori: H-brother, you're Hajime's brother.
Yuuki: Of course, can't you see the similarity?
Kouki: ... No, and your last names are different too.
Yuuki: That's because we're not related by blood.
Kouki: And how are you brothers?
Yuuki: Because we are, silly.
After that we walked away from the hero's group, teacher Aiko wanted me to apologize to that guy Daisuke but I wasn't going to do that.
The training continued after that incident but it was very simple, first it was all about choosing a weapon and learning how to swing it, that was no problem for us, after that it was magical training.
As Sekireis we could use magic and other skills directly without chants but in this world the only ones who could do that were monsters, so as not to raise strange suspicions we followed the knights' instructions on how to use magic, most of the time I was helping Hajime although he was somewhat reluctant to receive my help.
When the training was over we had free time to do whatever we wanted and the four men in our group were walking through the halls of the castle discussing what we would do.
Sora: Being in a new world, we should explore the city.
Yuuki: I'm definitely going to do that, but I'll leave that for another day. What I really want to do is visit the library, I need to know the history of this world.
Sora: Well, have fun with that, I'll be giving the city a tour. Akira, Hajime, you guys are coming?
Hajime: I guess, I'm interested in the city.
Akira: I'll go, to make sure you don't cause any trouble.
Sora: Geez, thanks, mom.
The boys went their separate ways but I stopped Hajime before he left.
Yuuki: Hey Hajime, I know you have a reason for not telling me what was happening at your school but remember, I'm here if you need me bro.
Hajime: Yes... I know.
