It was obvious that the people wanted to see her out of any of the female fighters they had. Krista spent most of her days waiting for her next match up, the translucent mask she received during her fight with the bear hanging in a makeshift hammock to keep it off the floor. Her blank mask sat on one of the end tables next to her bed as she wore the purplish gold adorned mask. She sat as usual, staring vacantly into a hand mirror she had been gifted. The head handler trying to break in a new set of trainee handlers. His only hope, that this time, none of them would open their mouths and piss Krista off. But there was no guarantee they would.
She just seemed to give this set of recruits a glowering look as if she were bored with messing with the new trainees. Krista sat with a loud sigh as she thought back on her life and how she ended up here now. She already knew a lot of it was her own damn fault, but still, it made her think back to her home village and her time growing up.
