Rifindio flew leisurely in the midst of the crowds, everyone paying close attention to him. By now, everyone already knew about Rifindio's past in the Palace, and there were some elders and other Camazotz Bats of the same generation who knew him personally. Most of them, obviously, treated him like shit back then. One can imagine the terror they had been feeling ever since Rifindio appeared.
Of course, considering the number of Camazotz Bats in the Supreme Palace, only a very tiny percentage truly knew Rifindio back then, not even 0.01%. So, for the rest, Rifindio's past didn't matter much as they did nothing to him. Instead, other than the fear that Rifindio might try to replace the Camazotz Bats, most were actually curious about this new Universe Owner.
