Caladara got up, preparing to leave. She acted as if everything was working just fine. "To you, nothing really. Only the expert who helped you will be able to identify what I did, and I left my energy signature behind, so that expert will know where to look for me."
Then, she began to make her way out of the living room.
"Se-Senior Caladara, what about everything else?" Ximao couldn't help but stop her. "The Judgemental Eye, the Balance, you know-"
Caladara raised her hand, making Ximao stop. "There are four of them, which is unprecedented. However, they weren't born in the Werdlem Empire, so the rules of the Judgemental Eye don't apply to them. Sure, I should have killed them because they are outsider, but I can't."
