Why lure the Godly Horror Moth into the Godly Apex Moth's territory? Obviously, the first reason was to attract the Apex's attention, but that wasn't the main objective. More importantly, they wanted to make it focus on the Godly Horror Moth instead of themselves.
After spending so much time in the Celestial Plane, the twins' group had learned that high-level Godly Creatures were extremely territorial, especially when another creature powerful enough to pose a threat entered their domain.
If the twins' group had entered the moth's territory on their own while relying on the airplane's Godly Pressure Disguise Array, the Godly Apex would have perceived them as nothing more than a weak Godly Predator. Just as it had done when it carried away the Peak Godly Horror's corpse, it would most likely have ignored them entirely.
One might think that having the Godly Apex underestimate and ignore them would be beneficial. And the answer was yes! It definitely would.
