The walls began to glitch and break apart. Slowly they were replaced by blocks of the exact same material.
It took a moment before Travis realized he was watching realities shift in real time. Like a scanner passing over the room in a thin line. Once the glitches reached him his equipment shifted back to the version of himself post regression.
"It's Salamandor! Be careful!"
Travis blinked in surprise, "What-?"
Wrock flickered and kicked the attacking Salamandor. A thin needle sword was mere inches from Travis' face, blocked by a flying kite shield.
This was the original reality! The moment before he was sent into the alternate realities. He hadn't thought returning would be this simple!
Gripping his swords he unsheathed them, "Careful! Salamandor has a number of tricks up his sleeve!"
