--15th September 4:09p.m.--
In a certain resort in Academy City, there were two voluptuous girls and a midget standing in the middle of a ryokan with a certain white haired boy lying down on a futon facing away from them.
The ryokan they were staying in wasn't very notorious, but it provided enough facilities for them to enjoy themselves.
"Are you girls ready to have fun?" Yomikawa asked the whole lot as they prepared to leave, of course all but one.
"Yeahhhh!! But...will he be following us? Misaka asks as Misaka looks at the lonely boy in the corner…"
Yomikawa's eyes twitched as she looked at the boy lazing around on the futon bed.
"This boy...."
--15th September 7:20a.m.--
"Wake up!! WAKE UUUP!! Misaka says as Misaka pounces on you in hopes that it will make you happy!!"
Accelerator's slithe body was immediately squashed underneath the middleweight girl and he groaned as his arms sprawled out on the bed.
"Get up!! Yomikawa said to get up around 7:30, but I think we should prepare before she comes in!! Misaka says as Misaka waits excitedly for Yomikawa to arrive while hiding the fact that she is excited to be going to the beach today!!"
Last Order's smile greeted Accelerator as his eyes struggled to open. It is hard for someone to wake up when their body did not receive sufficient rest.
"5 more minutes..."
Accelerator said with a weak voice. Even if Last Order was calling him to wake up, the fact that he only got a few hours of sleep last night was not enough to last his body for the entirety of the day. Last Order pouted as she knew that his '5 minutes' was not going to be '5 minutes' it was probably going to take him 50 more minutes to actually feel motivated to wake up.
That is, if he had any motivation in the first place.
Last Order started to lift her own weight up and down continuously on his thin body until he felt annoyed.
After every take off and landing, a gust of air would leave his body, leaving him breathless, and eventually he gave in.
He pressed a single button on his choker and lightly pushed her off him.
"Fine! Fine! I'm awake now!! What the hell do you want me to do now!?"
"Go and shower! Brush your teeth, and cleanse your bowel and bladder!! We will not have the luxury of a toilet inside Yomikawa's car!"
Accelerator sat up on the side of the bed and scratched his head for a while before he turned to look at Last Order who was not prepared in any way. Which could only lead to one conclusion...
"Haaaaaaaa...you wanna take a bath with me too?"
"Heh heh, Misaka is already a big girl, so she will not follow you to the bathroom, says Misaka as Misaka follows you to the bathroom because she knows that you are not old enough to take care of yourself yet." Accelerator shook his head as he lets out yet another exasperated sigh.
After grabbing a change of clothes and a tower, the both of them went into the bathtub together.
"Mmmm...I wonder what we will be doing later! Misaka wants to drown herself in the sea...or maybe even play beach volleyball!!"
Just as she says that, she splashes a handful of water at Accelerator who was just sitting behind her in the bathtub. He shielded his eyes from the water using his arms but her relentless assault penetrated through his defenses and some of it got into his eyes. Fortunately for him, there was no soap inside the bathtub yet, so he simply rubbed his eyes to get the water out.
"Come to think of it, Misaka doesn't even know what she wants to wear to the beach! Should she wear something that shows a lot of skin like those pretty ladies she sees in the magazine? Or should she hide her body so that perverts does not ogle at her, says Misaka as Misaka stares at you suspiciously."
Accelerator lightly slapped the back of her head with his palm, trying to dissuade her from any misleading thoughts.
"Get your head out of the gutter, and what the hell kind of magazines have you been reading?"
"Heheh, Misaka only reads those magazines that teaches her how to become a better woman! Says Misaka as Misaka just revealed her trick to you and realising that it was a wrong move."
"..."
Accelerator just stared at her blankly as he laid his head against the wall while soaking his body in the bathtub.
"Misaka wonders how long the staycation will be. Misaka has always wanted to go to the beach, but was unsure whether you could handle being all alone in the hospital..."
Accelerator raised one eyebrow as he looked at her twirling her fingers around.
"...I'll be fine. I've always been."
"Hm...of course! You even said that you would protect Misaka with your life! Says Misaka as Misaka gives you a smug look while reminding you of the past."
Accelerator could feel a slight burst in his vein at his forehead as he laid back with his eyes closed.
"If you don't forget that, I'll tell Yomikawa to leave you here, and I'll make sure to film the whole experience and send it to you."
"W-What?! Y-You can't do that to Misaka!! Misaka says as Misaka starts behaving properly even though she is 95% sure that you would not do that."
"Well, you better hope you're not unlucky."
"AHHHHH!!!"
The whole bathroom just started to fill itself with Last Order's whining and cries as they continued bathing.
----15th September 8:09a.m.----
The moment the door slid open, a woman wearing a green sports shirt and pants came through the door.
"Yo...why do the two of you look so tired??"
"Yooooomikawaaaaaaa...what took you so long?!"
Last Order pouted her lips as she crossed her arms. Accelerator on the other hand, had eyes that made him look like a panda. He had to try very hard to keep his head from falling off his body.
What made it even worse was that he could not fall asleep as Last Order kept shaking him everytime he tried to fall asleep.
"Heheh, I thought you guys would like to sleep in a bit later so I thought I would come slightly later...Was I wrong???"
"You could have just told us to wake up at a different timing!!"
Accelerator shouted at the top of his lungs.
"(Teenagers these days are weird...I did not expect them to get so mad about this...) W-Well, y-you guys are pretty much ready right? Let's get going then!"
Suddenly, a golden haired girl appeared behind Yomikawa with her head sticking out.
"I'm very excited to be joining you all today! Please take care of me!"
Ester smiled gleefully with her hands behind her back. Yomikawa gave her a pat on the back as she gave a thumbs up.
Accelerator could not be bothered to entertain the both of them as he grabbed his cane and slowly limped out of the ward, followed by the 3 other females.
The moment they were out of the hospital, Accelerator expected them to take a taxi or a bus to Seventh Mist, but was surprised to find out that Yomikawa had her own car.
"Hop in kids, I'll drive us there."
It was a 5 seater car that anyone living a normal life would drive. Not that it had any specific model, but it was nothing too fancy with a bland grey colour as its coating.
"Misaka wants to sit at the back with you!! Says Misaka as Misaka pulls you into the car with her."
Accelerator had his arm pulled forward as he got in, he had no choice. The boy with a walking stick could not escape the grasp of a young girl.
"I'll also sit at the back with them."
Ester said as she followed them right afterwards.
"Alright then, lets go!"
---15th September 8:30a.m.---
The moment they arrived at Seventh Mist, Last Order pulled Ester over to the candy shops and they ogled at the different sweets that Academy City had to offer.
"You're not gonna join them?"
Yomikawa asked as she used her elbow to hit Accelerator's arm.
"You kiddin' me? I'm not a kid, why the hell do you think I would want candies? If anything, where the hell is the coffee shop?"
"Hm? You drink coffee?"
Yomikawa raised one eyebrow as they continued watching the girls explore the different candies.
"Yeah, what about it?"
"Hm, I thought coffee was something that only the grownups would drink."
"Well, I guess I've grown up. Maybe I should start smoking like you to prove how much I've grown up."
"Ghk?! W-What could you possibly be talking about?" Yomikawa flinched the moment she heard that line. She had always tried to hide the fact that she smokes by staying in a well ventilated area indoors so the students that she teach won't learn this bad habit from her.
Unfortunately, it had all been in vain.
"I'm not an idiot, you know? I can smell that cigarette from you and your fucking breath stinks. Anyone can tell from an instance."
"Geh..."
Yomikawa's face flushed red from embarrassment from being found out, and also for all the attempts that she tried to hide it.
"...But I doubt they'd even be smart enough to know the smell of cigarettes."
Accelerator advanced further into Seventh Mist still on his journey to look for the coffee shop, Yomikawa grabbed the attention of the other two and then Accelerator's collar right after.
"O-Oi! Let go of me!"
"Where do you think you're going?"
"I'm just going to buy coffee, it's not like I'm going to buy drugs!"
"The doctor said no caffeine or else your injury might open by itself again."
The two girls watched awkwardly as Yomikawa pulled Accelerator along by his collar.
"Since when were the two of them so close?"
"Misaka doesn't know says Misaka as Misaka suspects that he must have done something behind our backs..."
During the shopping trip, the two girls tried on different swimsuits, from a flowery themed, 2 piece swimsuit, to a rosy, seductive 2 piece, well most of it was worn on Ester, because of her mature size.
Last Order had the short end of the stick as the staff inside the shop was requested to pick out suitable outfits for her, and they went with one-piece swimsuits that students in elementary school would wear, except it had intricate designs on it.
"Misaka does not know why, but she feels a bit insulted by this, says Misaka as Misaka holds back her anger but can't resist bursting out!!"
Last Order started to hit Accelerator with her balled-up fists out of anger and Accelerator just sat on a chair tanking the hits despite not being involved in choosing her swimsuits.
"What are you planning to wear to the beach?"
Ester asked as she sat right next to Accelerator. His response was simply raising a pair of trunks and rudely tossing it over to Yomikawa.
"That's it? That's all you're gonna buy? Don't you want like a swim shirt or something?"
Even though he was rude to her, she didn't pay it any attention. After all, she is used to dealing with troublesome teenagers like him.
In response, Accelerator raised one eyebrow at her.
"Why the hell do you think I would need to wear a swimming shirt? It's pointless to have a shirt for swimming when I'm just going to lie on the sand the whole time."
There was a lingering silence from everyone including the staff inside the shop. Almost immediately, Yomikawa pulled his ear as her tolerance finally wore off.
"Listen here, you're not going to the beach to lie down on the sand, understood? You're going to follow us, and you're going to have fun, okay?"
Yomikawa smiled maliciously as she held him up by his ear.
"O-Okay!! Now let go of my ear! It hurts damnit!!"
By the time she released his ear, his ear was burning red and he cupped it just to try and tranquilise the pain, but to no avail.
"I'm going to the toilet."
Accelerator picked up his walking stick and slowly limped out of the store. He needed water to soothe the pain that was burning in his ear.
It was excruciating, counting the fact that that was his first time being legitimately schooled. No other pain could match what his ear was feeling right now.
As he was walking, no one knows whether it was his luck, or rather misfortune, or fate as he ran into a familiar face.
One he had recently saw as well.
The two boys stared at each other with menacing looks. So intimidating that it created such an aura that told people in the vicinity that a fight may occur any second. However, right before either of them could pull any punches, a girl in a frilly dress showed up behind him.
"Oh, Teitoku-san, what is happening here?"
The 2nd ranked Level 5 esper was holding shopping bags all around his forearm, his wrists and in his hands as well.
The blonde haired girl behind him held two more bags in her hand as she tapped his shoulder.
She was smaller in size, probably being only a head taller than Last Order. She was wearing a pink frilly dress with accessories all around her body, most notably a necklace and some wristbands. Her hair was curly while being held in a ponytail.
Kakine responded ignorantly as he turned his back on Accelerator.
"Nothing...What the hell? How many more things are you going to buy?"
"It looks good, doesn't it?"
"That's not the point here...What's the point of me being here again?"
Kakine's back slumped forward from the number of bags he was holding and since it was in the morning, it made his mood even worse. "Ara...we're teammates, aren't we? We should spend some time bonding together."
"I don't care about where the hell we go, I just want to know what's the point of me being here. I'll tell you this once, there's no mission here, there's nothing here that I want, THERE'S NO POINT IN ME BEING HERE!!"
Instead of being terrified by the shouting from the 2nd ranked Level 5, the girl just puts up a sly grin.
"Ara, but there is a point in you being here. The guy should always buy something a girl wants, and sometimes girls can be indecisive. That is why I've called you here today."
"But I'm not interested in following you around to buy clothes."
"Oh?"
She goes back into the shop and picks up two different dresses and puts them in front of her.
"Between the green and blue dress...which one do you think suits me more?"
"Like hell I care. Decide on your own."
"I think this red dress suits me more, actually...Yeah, I think I'll buy this one."
"Listen here...if that's all I'm here to do, why can't you just ask one of your clients to follow you or something?"
"Well, I can't do that, because I'm only hired to talk to them. I don't do anything else. I get paid to listen to them rant about how sad their life is, so I can't make memories with them."
The girl puts down the dress as she goes closer to him.
"Besides, this precious shopping trip should be spent with a trustworthy ally. Do you understand what I mean? Kakine Teitoku..."
She leans in closer to his face as he smirks at her.
"A trustworthy ally huh...What the hell are you even talking about. Which part of me looks like a trustworthy ally? I'm a damn villain. I'll hit you with these shopping bags."
"Hmph, I would tell you to be careful with those bags since you're a trustworthy ally. I need you with me, I can't carry all those bags by myself."
"Hm, of course. I guess this should be within my power. So? Are you done or what?"
She shook her head as she crossed her arms.
"We're just getting started. I'll need you with me all the way."
She leans in close to his ear as she whispered something.
It was inaudible to Accelerator since the shopping mall was bustling, though it was not crowded, it was definitely still very loud.
Kakine clicked his tongue the moment she pulled back from his ear.
"Fine, get it over with quickly."
"Right, on to the next store!"
Kakine glared at Accelerator as he gave him one final message.
"Pretend this incident never happened and I'll spare you the next time we meet."
Accelerator just rolled his eyes as he gave him a blank look.
"Do you think I care about what you do on your free time with your girlfriend?"
The moment Accelerator finished his sentence, a white wing popped out of Kakine's back and stopped right in front of Accelerator.
"Don't get the wrong idea. She's merely an acquaintance I hired."
"..."
"Oh and the next time we meet, I'm not gonna spare you, so get ready."
Accelerator stayed rooted to the floor, unfazed by what the 2nd ranked Level 5 did.
"(For some reason, my ear doesn't hurt anymore. I should be wary if a girl asks me to go shopping next time...sucks to be him.)"
Accelerator chuckled as he limped back to the girls.
When he made it back to them, Last Order came running at him.
"Geez, what took you so long?! We were waiting for you to return but you took so long!! Says Misaka as Misaka jumps up and down with excitement."
"Yeah yeah, I'm sorry. Let's go."
Last Order's head pulled back as her face made an 'O' shape.
"W-What the?! H-He apologised?! What happened when he went to the toilet asks Misaka as Misaka theorizes that something shady must have went on behind our backs!"
Ester came along with her hands behind her back.
"Did something good happen?"
"Nothing. Just thought that being a disabled person actually has its benefits."
"Hm?"
Ester tried to pry him for more information, but he said nothing more.
With Yomikawa leading the three of them, they all got into the car and went on their merry way.
---15th September 9:29a.m.---
Of course before they leave, they had to pack clothes inside their bags. For Accelerator, it was a simple task. Plain grey and white clothes with jeans and shorts. The most he would bring to entertain himself was just a book which he had already read finished.
However, Last Order on the other hand...
"Misaka has to bring a float, my Gekota pillow, my pyjamas...AHHHH!! There's so many things Misaka has to fit into this small bag!! exclaims Misaka as Misaka starts panicking over the many things that she has to bring!!"
Heaven Canceller was in her room, assisting her with her decision making.
"Now now Last Order, if you have anything you want to bring, you can always go to Ester. I'm sure she would be happy to help you carry some things."
"B-But the thing that won't fit in my bag is my Gekota pillow!! Says Misaka as Misaka holds back her tears from coming out."

Meanwhile, Ester was choosing what type of outfit she wants to wear to the beach in order to impress the person she has been following all this time.
The Accelerator.
"(But would he even care about what I wear?)"
Because it has been apparent to her that he is not interested in her in the least bit.
"(Hmm...)"
Her lips twirled in hesitation as she continued thinking over it.
Yomikawa was waiting outside the hospital since she had her things packed inside her trunk.
---15th September 9:46a.m.---
Since Accelerator finished packing early, he was waiting outside Last Order's room along with Ester, listening to her struggles and troubles.
There was a silence between the two of them as they listened in on Last Order rummaging through her room while shouting left and right in a panic.
"What do you think we're going to do later?"
Ester tried to break the silence between them with a light conversation, but it seemed like Accelerator was not interested in talking as his eyes were shut as he leaned against the wall.
"It's the damn beach. What else do you think we can do there besides playing in the sand and drowning in the water."
"...That's...true-"
Ester did not know how to respond because she could tell from a glance that Accelerator was tired, and he made it clear that he was not interested in going to the beach, but he was forced to tag along.
Before anything else could be said, Last Order slammed the door wide open.
"Alright!! Misaka is ready for battle! Says Misaka as Misaka runs with the wind behind her."
"W-Wait up, Last Order!!"
Ester shouted as she chased her down the hallway. That left Accelerator and Heaven Canceller alone together.
"Why did you allow her to take me along?"
"Why not? You could use a bit of rehabilitation. PROPER REHABILITATION."
"What do you mean by that?"
"All you've been doing is running around and injuring yourself even further. Your rehabilitation is not rehabilitation at all. That is why I've assigned Yomikawa-san to give you some proper rehabilitation."
"Tch, you're a damn troublesome doctor."
"Which doctor isn't?"
---15th September 11:20a.m.---
"Yooomiikawaaaa...Misaka knows that we were supposed to go to the beach...BUT WHAT IS THIS FAKE BEACH?!!? Asks Misaka as Misaka slowly loses hope..."
"What do you mean, Last Order?"
"THIS IS A SIMULATION, YOMIKAWA!! THIS IS NOT THE REAL DEAL!!"
They were in District 22, the true future of Academy City. Everything inside this District was more advanced than the other Districts. This was also where most of the rich people would come to relax, simply because it was more accomodating.
And Yomikawa happened to receive the best treatment.
The place they were in was very clean and it felt like they were rich people. The atmosphere was soothing and warm with dim orange lights being the only light there.
It was a fairly big ryokan with a king sized bed, along with two futons lined up on the floor. The main hall had a table in the centre and above it was a lamp emitting a dim orange light. In front of it was a large scale television with the screen being slightly curved for more depth and realism.
"Waaaahh...this place is beautiful...says Misaka as Misaka feels like she can even sleep on the floor..."
"Wow, this place is really amazing..." Ester's eyes sparkled ever so slightly as she was dazzled by the atmosphere.
"Wow, the higher-ups really gave me a break this time."
While the three girls admired the surroundings of the room, Accelerator was only focused on one thing in the ryokan.
The king sized bed.
It brought him so much joy that the moment he was 5 steps away from the bed, he threw his cane to the floor and walked there just to drop dead on the bed.
Yomikawa facepalmed the moment he laid down, but it didn't matter that much to her yet as she had to check the rest of the place to ensure that it was properly cleaned.
Ester sat on the bed and immediately started bouncing on the bed.
"Wow, it's so soft, yet hard."
Last Order dived right onto the bed and her whole body sank right into the middle of the bed.
"Misaka never knew heaven felt so good!!"
However, Yomikawa went over and smacked each of their heads awake not even a minute after.
"Hey guys, we're not here just to sleep. Come on, lets go check out the other facilities."
Yomikawa painstakingly dragged Accelerator and Last Order out of the bed while Ester got off.
"NOOOO MISAKA DOESN'T WANT TO GO BACK DOWN!!!"
"Seems like the devil has come to visit..."
Both Accelerator and Last Order mourned as Yomikawa dragged them down the hallway. The first stop they arrived at was the hot springs, but they didn't really go in. They were only there to note down the location of the hot springs and sauna for later. Conveniently enough, there was also a spa right next door, so everything that they needed to use to freshen up was right there.
"Wahhhh...Misaka wants to go in right now!! Says Misaka as Misaka holds back the urge to run in and dive right into the water!!"
"Calm down, Last Order. We'll come back here later. Come on, let's check out the dining area."
Last Order's head immediately shot up as stars started to glimmer in her eyes.
"That's right!! Misaka still has not eaten yet!! Says Misaka as Misaka urges you to walk faster so that we can eat!!"
"Haha, alright alright, let's go."
Shortly after that, they reached a large dining hall that had no signs of life. It was completely empty, and there were tables lined up where the trays of ingredients were supposedly placed there.
"Lunch is not served yet huh..."
"NOOOOO!! Misaka is going to starve at this rate!! Says Misaka as Misaka falls in defeat."
Accelerator slowly limped away without saying anything, but before he could leave unannounced, Yomikawa caught him.
"Where do you think you're going, young man?"
"Somewhere more productive? Think about it, if all four of us are walking together, we cover lesser ground compared to if we split up into 3 groups. That way, at least we know what we want to do here rather than exploring and contemplating on when we are doing it."
"..."
Yomikawa stayed silent as she slowly loosened the grip on his collar.
"Haaaa...fine. Then we'll meet back at our room at 4."
Accelerator didn't have to respond because he had been given the permission to walk away. Last Order was forced to follow Yomikawa, and Ester was left alone.

"(Finally, some peace and quiet...)"
The white haired boy wasted no time in going back to the room, to change into his shorts while keeping his top on as he trailed along the spa area. However, just as he thought he was safe from Yomikawa's nagging, he came face to face with another challenger.
"Funny running into you here, Accelerator-kyun☆~~"
"..............."
Accelerator had a dead expression on his face as the golden haired Level 5 did her signature peace sign beside her face.
"Are you perhaps stalking me? *Gasp* Are you perhaps interested in me?! I'm sorry, but I'm only interested in one boy only☆~~"
"I don't care what kind of toys you use, just don't get in my way."
His warning however, fell on deaf ears.
Misaki purposely stood at the front of the entrance to the spa as she looked at him.
"Come here and introduce yourselves girls☆~"
Out of the blue, two girls appeared behind her. One of them had purple hair, and she was cowering behind Misaki and the other had a very familiar face, but her hair was longer than normal. The purple haired girl was wearing a black bikini with a brown top covering her arms and her black panties were visible to everyone around.
The other girl had the facial features of the Misaka clones, as well as the physique. The only difference was that her hair was much much longer than the other Misaka's and it reached down all the way to her back. She wore a pink frilly one-piece swimsuit with a white jacket covering her upper body.
"Nice to meet you, my name is Dolly! You're Accelerator, right?"
She reached her hand out for a handshake, but Accelerator just stared at her.
"..."
Accelerator didn't know what to say to her. It just felt weird for him to be acknowledged by her. Fortunately, or maybe unfortunately, Misaki broke the ice for them by bringing their hands together for a handshake.
After a single shake, Accelerator subtly pulled his hand away as Misaki raised one provoking eyebrow at him.
"And this here is Mitori-san☆~"
Misaki pulled the purple haired girl closer to him and forced the both of them to shake each others' hands.
"N-Nice...to meet...you."
She lowered her head down to the point where she was looking down at his feet.
"...Now, get out of my way."
Accelerator tried to push his way past Mitori, but she was so petrified that she could not move out of the way. And that prompted Misaki to stand in for her.
"Why are you in a rush to get in? You should spend more time with us instead☆~"
"Tch!!"
Misaki blocked him using her arm and when he tried to break through her defense, he couldn't push her arm away.
"Get the fuck out of my way!!"
The moment he shouted at her, the only people who flinched were Dolly and Mitori.
"Gh?!"
Accelerator swallowed the back of his throat as he looked at Dolly. It shocked him to see how much emotions she held inside her.
Suddenly, the voice of Misaki ring inside his head.
"Shocking, isn't it? Do you ever think back about your actions? How much pain you've caused them."
At that moment, Accelerator smacked his head with his left hand and the sound of glass breaking can be heard, and the backs of the girls stood up.
"Hm? Did you guys hear anything?"
Dolly looked around to see where the source of that sound was from, but there was nothing near them. Just the sound of the running water inside the spas and hot springs.
"N-No, of course not…"
Misaki reassured her as she glanced back at Accelerator.
"Just leave me alone."
"Al-Alright…"
Misaki choked on her words as she talked to him.
Accelerator slowly limped back to his room as the tension killed the air.
The moment he left the area, Misaki looked at Mitori who was confused at what had happened.
"So…what do you think about his answer?"
"…I don't know…I…I guess I don't really know who he is."
——15th September 4:21p.m.——
"Must I seriously be pulled out of bed just to come here??"
"We are here to have fun, not sleep."
"I'm a disabled boy with problems. I don't need fun, I just want rest…"
Accelerator had his back slumped right in front of a volleyball net with Last Order and Ester on the other side.
"That's why I'm going to fix you back up. Today, I'm going to properly rehabilitate you."
"What?"
Yomikawa pulled him away from the two of them until there was a distance of almost 100 metres between them.
"So, what am I here for?"
"Today, I'm going to train you under a tough plan."
"And why would I need that? I'm practically still a Level 5 in Academy City. I still hold the title of a Level 5. Why do I need to train myself? And how would I do that in my current state?!"
Accelerator was bewildered with her suggestions. It just made no sense to him.
"Well, I'm going to push you over the limits over what your normal body can do."
Just as she said that, she effortlessly pushed him down onto the sand.
"See? What could you have done in your current state? If you were unprepared for it, someone could have gotten hurt because you weren't strong enough."

It was not something that Accelerator could confirm. Sure, he had helped a few people, but it didn't mean that they were his friends. It just meant that he made one less enemy.
"I know what you've been up to and I know you've been running around saving people. It is a good thing."
Yomikawa smiled at him as she gave him a pat on the back. In response, he only clicked his tongue.
"I'm just afraid that the moment when the power in you runs out, you'll be helpless and powerless to do anything. I don't want you to get hurt that's all. You may be the strongest, but even the best have their limits."
"…Fine. What the hell am I supposed to do?"
"Firstly, 20 push-ups! After that, a 100 metres run, and then holding your breath underwater!"
"Heh, 20? That's it? This is easy."
Accelerator had a smug look on his face as he got on all fours. He stretched his legs and arms out and got into position.
He felt the strain of being in that position without his cane and it felt awkward for him. However, the true test of strength was about to come.
When he was all ready to do push-ups in that position, he could go down easily, but coming back up was the most difficult part. It took him all his energy to get back up that he fell right back down the moment he got back up.
"Haaa…haaa…haaaa…there! I did one!"
"Haha, good job! You have 19 more to go!"
"…Heh, I'll just…"
Accelerator reached for the power on his battery, but before he could activate it, Yomikawa pulled his arm away as she let him dangle there.
"Ah ah ah…No using that."
"Are you fucking crazy?! I'm about to die just from doing this!!"
Even though Accelerator only did one push-up, he was already sweating from head-to-toe.
"This is insane…haaa…You're about to commit a damn murder! And you're supposed to be protecting lives!!"
"Oh come on, it's not that bad. Here, if it makes you feel any better, I'll do it with you."
Yomikawa got into position beside him and she effortlessly went down and back up.
"See? It's not that bad."
"You're fucking able-bodied. I'm a damn handicap!!"
"Sheesh, if you used that energy to do push-ups instead of yapping all day, you might be able to finish it within a minute." Yomikawa casually tells him as she did a single push up beside him.
