"Done." A teenager was wiping his sweats after cleaning up the newly bought building which he would use to open a store.
His name was Maximilian Christian, 19 years old, a Tamer or more popularly known as a Beastmaster and he was reincarnated as a baby in this world.
The world he reincarnated into was a world where Humans and Beasts(Both Animal and Plant life forms) evolved accompanied by transformation of the planet that caused it to expand many times larger and connected to many dangerous areas called Space Cracks filled with dangerous Beasts. What made it worse, the advantage of Humans namely advanced weapons became weaker and weaker.
Ordinary weapons only could deal with ordinary Beasts but against stronger Beasts, it was just a passing wind barely damaging them. Only stronger weapons that were developed afterward using new types of minerals found in the exploration done in Space Cracks and various experimentations could fight against stronger Beasts. Unfortunately, deploying such weaponry was very expensive and not every existing country could afford it. The resources also limited.
Many countries joined in a new research how to combat such disadvantages. Many volunteers from various countries were involved as lab rats. After decades of researching, they found a new way.
Then the Era of Beastmaster was born.
Beastmaster was an evolved Human who could tame or make a pact with Beast. If Max put it on the term from his gaming experience in previous lives, Beastmaster was somewhat between a Summoner and a Tamer. They could summon their Beasts from reserved Beast Space and tame Beasts as their companions. It allowed Humans pushed the boundaries where their previous un-evolved self were lacking.
Sadly, not everyone could become a Beastmaster.
Evolved Human while had stronger body and longer life span, to become a Beastmaster, someone needed the talent for it or luck. One could be born in a family of Beastmaster but couldn't become one or one could be born in a normal family but could become one. But in general, family of Beastmaster usually produced Beastmaster than normal family.
Now let's go back to Max.

Max felt himself on the verge of exploding. One part of his status, Beastmaster, was marked by System as Low Talent. He didn't deny that he was lucky to be able to contract Beast but could the System be a little considerate how he would take it.
For now, Max thought he should focus on his current situation. He took a loan from bank to purchase this building by mortgaging his Beastmaster Badge that every Beastmaster would have after graduation.
"What is Purchase Channel?"
As soon to be a store owner, having his own supplier was important. He had done several researches which supplier he would contact to get their goods.
"Purchase Channel, just like the name implies, is a Purchase Channel. It classified into three levels. Ordinary, Middle, Extraordinary. Purchase Channel can be upgraded using Point System. Host can gain 1 Point System or PS per 1000G profits gained by host." System explained.
That answered some of his questions.
"How about Store Owner(Level 1)?"
"Store Owner Levels are similar to the games host had played in the past. Each level unlocks new features. To upgrade Store Owner Levels requires PS and sometimes with Quests or Something."
Max frowned. If based on such thing, would it be a very hard thing to do?
"Show me Beast Food(Ordinary)."
An illusory window that only available to him was opened.

Expensive was the first thing came into Max's mind. 70G to draw once was sky high price. Popular brands that were circulated in the market was cheap. It only needed 100-150G per sack(10Kg).

The conclusion Max could get was he was going to die. Where did he will get customer who would buy his wares? Only high income Beastmaster or rich people could buy it without a second thought. Other customers would brain him to death with price like that.

"..." The System went silent. It was either the System wanted him to die or simply didn't want to clarify. Either way, he was still fucked by the System.

Unlike their Human counterpart, the amount of food the Beast required depend on its size. The bigger the size of the Beast the greater the food intake. Of course, there were exceptions to this rule but it was none of his business. His own Beast was categorized as small so the needed food was still manageable.
Max arranged his wares to available display and wrote the name of each item types along its selling price. Once done, it was time to properly open his store.

Life was still the same for Max. Even with System, his life was pretty much unremarkable.
"Damn it!" He cursed seeing a potential customer leaving the premise of his store. He understood that they were scared by the price of his wares. With the same amount of money, they could buy similar products in other places two or three times in number and many times heavier than his wares.

The bell rang as a new person or rather a woman entering his store.
"Welcome to Max's Deluxe Beast Store. How may I help you?" Max greeted politely.
The woman looked around a little. "Is this really a Beast Store?" Judging from the tone she used, it seemed she was doubting that his store was a Beast Store. Well, she was kinda right about it. Even Max still doubted that his own store was a Beast Store.
Beast Store, even the newly opened one, was usually filled with various types of wares. But his store only sold one type of product, Beast Food.
"This is indeed a Beast Store. Currently my store only has one product, Elemental Beast Food." Considering the Beast Foods he drew consisted of Food for Elemental Beast, it was not wrong to call it Elemental Beast Food.
"Elemental Beast Food?" Another flash of doubt coming from the woman.
"Yes... I have a friend who is connected to a new company that engaging in producing rare products. This Elemental Beast Food is one of them. It caters to Beast's taste and appetite with specific Elemental Power and is recommended for Beast in Infancy and Juvenile Stage. Currently, this store only has Fire, Water, Wind and Earth Elements. As for other Elements, it will take a while until next shipment arrive." Max had rehearsed this whole speech after finding the same question from his failed to be customers. He pointed at the packages of Beast Foods near him.
The mother squinted at the Beast Foods. "Isn't it too expensive for a small package like this?"
Max also thought the same but it was produced by the System so he had no say in it. "I think so too. But that is limited on a similar and generic product. In Max's Deluxe Beast Store, the products we sell must be Boutique Quality. With such harsh qualification for product selection, so far only this Beast Food has fulfilled the category. We will add more products once the condition is fulfilled."
He didn't know when System would release new products or the condition for him to get those products. The only consolation he could get was the System would produce what it considered as the best.
The woman looked conflicted at his speech. At one side, his claim was only just a claim and without proof to back it up but on the other side, if what he said was real then she had nothing to lose.
"I'll take one Beast Fire Food and two Beast Wind Foods." The woman handed him the cash.
Max gave her the purchased goods which she put inside her Storage Bag(A portable dimension where people could store things but never a living life form). "Thank you for your patronage."
