A figure leaped out from the void and appeared on a bed inside Feng Li's courtyard. A brilliant smile could be seen hanging on the youthful face of the boy sitting on the bed. Feng Li had just exited the nine-floor heavenly pagoda and arrived inside his room. It was already late in the evening.
Knock! knock!
Out of the blue, a knock was heard on his door. He was sure it was one of the servants who knocked on the door every time they served meals. Feng Li had been inside his room for the last four days, as far as the others were concerned.
He took a step off his bed and appeared in front of the door, some meters away from his bed. His current speed was beyond his imagination. When he had broken through the body cultivation physique to the early first layer, he had the strength comparable to a third-level soul transformation master and a speed on par with a fifth-level soul transformation master. But with both qi and body cultivation, his speed was unimaginable. One thing he was aware of was that, despite his explosive strength, he could completely hide it and appear no different from a mortal.
He went out of his room and headed towards the the dinning room which was not far from his room. In a few seconds, he arrived into the dinning room. In there, his family was sitted on their respective seats while a chair next to his sister was empty.
"You have finally decided to come out, you smelly brother." The moment Feng Xu saw Feng Li, she started cursing at him with bitterness, with love hidden in her words.
Hearing his sister cursing at him, he could not help but feel warmth in his heart. He had a loving family in this life, unlike his previous lives. He slowly walked up to his seat and sat down after respectfully greeting his family members.
"Son you have been locked in your room for the last four days. Is everything okay with you?" His mum asked him in a caring tone.
"Yes, Mum everything is okay. I was just doing some readings about this and that, who knows i might end up being a scholar in the future." Feng Li sarcastically said.
"I will support you with any decisions you make, son. Your mother, sister, and I will always be there for you." Feng Tian said this after a long silence of thinking.
"Tomorrow shall be the inter-clan gathering, I reckon you prepare yourselves psychologically for any unknown events that might happen." Feng Tian added and kept silent.
"Yes, Father."
Both Feng Li and Feng Xu replied together respectfully.
The meal ended silently and Feng Li did not return back to his room but went out to get some air. After all he was inside the pagoda for nearly fourteen days. He walked straight to the exit. After coming out he thought for a moment and finaly turned to walk in a direction of his choosing.
After walking for a few minutes and confirming that no one was around or seeing him, he activated his qi and speedily disappeared into the darkness at an unfathomable speed. He was several times faster than when he had broken through to the early first layer of the heaven indestructible divine physique.
A few seconds later, he appeared a few meters away from the waterfall he had been several days ago when he met Feng Xue there. Looking at the waterfall, he was calm as he walked slowly towards it. When he was close to it, he was taken aback when he saw a figure enshrouded in a blue veil of light around her. The veil of light could be described by one word: domain! Yes, it was a domain!
Feng Li could tell by a glance that the figure in the midst of the domain was none other than Feng Xue who was currently covered in blue lights. She was exuding a very frightening aura that could suppress a peak middle fourth-level soul transformation practitioner. He slowly walked and stood a meter away from her and completely suppressed his breath so as not to disturb her cultivation.
Looking at Feng Xue's small face and her delicate skin, Feng Li couldn't help but acknowledge that the girl in front of him was a beauty. After all it cannot be disputed that he had two lives worth of knowledge and experience hence it was not strange that he could see Feng Xue in such a perspective.
"You have seen quite enough young master." A sweet and delicate voice echoed inside Feng Li's ears which brought him back from his vile thoughts.
Looking at the girl who had now stood up while not even daring to look into his eyes, he could not help but laugh lightly.
"I was just walking around when I saw you here cultivating, hence I stood by not intending to disrupt your cultivation. Sorry for my inconvenience." Feng Li hurriedly explained.
"It's fine, young master, you do not need to explain. I don't care even if you had interrupted me. How have you been lately?" Feng Xue asked him with a beautiful smile that caused Feng Li to swallow in his saliva, which could not have gone unnoticed by her.
"Wait, why is your cultivation in the fourth level soul transformation realm. Just a few days ago, you were on the second level. This is so great." Feng Li was taken aback by the monstrosity of the girl in front of him.
"My cultivation technique is well compatible with this environment, hence the leap in my speed of advancement. Wait, but how did you see through my strength when I have completely hidden it, and not even a seventh-level soul transformation master could see through?" Feng Xue asked while confused.
Realizing that he had thoughtlessly said something which could cause doubt to the other party, Feng Li quickly thought of a lie to cover his 'mistake'.
"I arrived here a long time ago and saw you cultivate. I don't know how but my perception was high enough to see through your level of strength don't over think it so much." Feng Li explained himself in a relaxed manner that Feng Xue could not have noticed any flaw in his explanation.
"Don't mind me, big brother, I was just joking. With your level of talent, it would be so weird if you had no such abilities. But still tomorrow I will be around you all day, don't worry." Feng Xue said with a smile on her face.
The two talked for a long time until late in the night when they decided to return to the family mansion. To return quickly to the mansion, Feng Xue abruptly took hold of Feng Li and speedily ran towards the family mansion at a speed that surprised Feng Li. The speed was comparable to a peak fifth-level soul transformation master, if he was not mistaken.
It did not take long before they arrived at the family door. When they arrived at the door, only one person was left at the door as though waiting for the arrival of the two.
"Well well who could it be if not the Feng family young master Feng Li being carried around by a girl. How romantic it is." The young man who was Feng Bu stood at the door way and said mockingly.
Feng Xue had suppressed her cultivation to the second level of the soul transformation realm to not cause any vile thoughts in the mind of Feng Bu, just in case, so that her strength would not be known until the next day of the inter-clan gathering.
Feng Li came down from Feng Xue's support and stood in front of Feng Bu with a calm expression on his face.
"Have you said whatever stupidity that has been cooking inside your small brain buddy." Feng Li arrogantly said to Feng Bu.
"What did you say. Do you dare repeat it once again?" Feng Bu was both angry and surprised by the sudden turn of events. He always taunted Feng Li but he never retaliated but today not only did he not keep quiet but he insulted him.
"Do I look like I'm as dumb as you are, or do I seem to be some sort of entertainment to you? Don't keep on blocking my way. Scram!" Feng Li said with an impatient tone.
"Well, I will see if you will still keep this arrogant demeanor tomorrow." Feng Bu said as he dissappeared from their sight.
Feng Li bid his farewell to Feng Xue and went back to his courtyard. He was clearly very tired and had not slept for a long period of time. He threw himself onto the bed and slept peaceful.
The night vail quickly dissappeared and morning quickly took over. Feng Li was still asleep at this time as though he was not aware of the event that was to happen on this day.

Outside the Feng mansion, a lot of people could be seen entering by showing there invitations and some with various means. The Feng family seemed to be lively as people from Emerald City and other villages around flooded into the Feng mansion.
The battle arena of the Feng family was now flooded with many people, and some of the core disciples of the Feng family were seen seated in the built-up area left for the core disciples.
