Lisa's POV
"I am sorry, Lisa, that is why I don't want to tell you what happened with Ben. I could say he was a good man before he proposed to Tanya. He came into our house and asked me one more time if I didn't know anything about you. He said it would be unfair on your part if he would get married knowing you didn't break up." My mom said,
I cry even harder, and I know I don't have any right to feel this way since I was the one who made this choice one year ago, but I couldn't stop myself from crying knowing he came into our house, meaning he was still hopeful that I would come back to San Antonio.
"Even if my loyalty will always be with you because you are my daughter, but knowing you left without telling me anything, it hurt me like hell because I am your mother, and I don't know where to find you." My mom added, and I could feel the sadness and hurt in her voice. I know I caused my mom pain too, but she didn't tell me about her feelings towards me since she knew I was dying.
