"NO! What the heck, Marco!?" she shrieked, her voice raw with fury and despair. She dropped to her knees, tears streaming down her cheeks. "We just failed to... protect Sari's family!"
"I'm sorry, it could disqualify them..." Marco replied, his voice heavy with defeat as the terrible reality of the situation settled over him.
Athena didn't flinch. She slowly raised her head, her teary eyes fixed on Marco in a burning glare. "What do you think happens now that they're definitely gone?"
Silence filled the battlefield as the crowd waited for the smoke to fade out and see if they finally killed the three mortals.
"I'm glad the fight ain't over yet~!" A familiar voice suddenly speaks, making Marco and the others felt their heart beating faster. They turned their head to the battlefield to confirm their guess.
